Her jewelry line was short lived, but her impact was mighty. Consistently regarded as a favorite amongst the industry's top stylists, her pieces often graced the pages of Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and more (see image here from Vogue Italia, shot by Steven Meisel and styled by Lori Goldstein). This incredible necklace was the first piece she made, and inspired the started of her collection. Made of over 1,000 pearls, consisting of Chinese 'Kiska' rice shaped freshwater peals, custom cage ball round freshwater pearls, and Japanese faux paper mache pearls, drilled in different spots to create an abundance and asymmetry. Black filigree 'lace' discs and a brilliant large button, both made of German lucite, to conceal the gunmetal snap clasp. A large, statement piece that is surprisingly not overbearing to wear.
