Hand harvested, this resin has been tapped from Boswellia Sacra trees in the Dhofar region of Oman. 

This “Green Hojari” - Boswellia Sacra, is coveted for it's rarity and sacred standing and is considered to be of the highest grade. 

It's perfume has touches of citrus and eucalyptus and is just divine.

Though custom is to burn the resin tears on charcoal (if you do, make sure the charcoal is grey before dropping the resin onto it), we find placing a piece in a small amount of oil in an oil burner gives a much softer perfume which lasts for days. 

Choose your oil wisely and it can be used on your skin as the resin infuses itself.

You can also use a purpose made electric temperature controlled burner.

Used for millennia & prized for its ‘scent from the gods’ this Hojari frankincense is recognised as being of 'medicinal quality' and has known health properties when chewed or brewed as a tea.

We make Frankincense Tea with our resin - a process used since ancient times.

For us it’s great to alleviate a sore throat or tooth ache and is also a beautifully energetic tonic.

To Make Tea
Place 1⁄2 to 1 teaspoon of tears in a cup or small jar and cover with hot water overnight.

Strain and sip throughout the day or place in the fridge to keep for later. You can re-use the resin until it stops turning milky, then it’s great to chew as gum or simply consume with water.

Alternatively, just place some resin in your bottle of drinking water.
