HCPRO Performance 3G is a refinery-grade mineral compressor lubricant with SUS 150 / ISO VG 32 viscosity (~30 cSt at 40°C). Flash point ~430°F, pour point -40°F, color clear to light amber. Wax-free formulation prevents floc problems in evaporators and expansion valves. Compatible with R-22, R-502, CFC, HCFC, R-290 propane, R-600a isobutane, and ammonia refrigerants. Works in reciprocating, rotary, and hermetic compressors.

When to use it
During compressor refill on R-22, R-502, CFC, HCFC, or hydrocarbon (R-290, R-600a) systems. Use at OEM-specified change intervals during routine service. Critical for low-temperature refrigeration where wax-free formulation prevents floc buildup. Don't use during R-22 → R-410A retrofit — transition requires POE oil.
Why mineral vs PAG, POE, or 4G VG 68
Mineral 3G VG 32 for legacy R-22/R-502 systems and hydrocarbon refrigerants — chemically similar to hydrocarbons (R-290, R-600a) for full miscibility. 4G VG 68 for higher-pressure commercial. POE for modern HFC/A2L. PAG for R-134a automotive only. Using POE in R-22 systems can change oil return behavior; using PAG in refrigeration causes failure.
