【Description】

グランドセイコーの第2世代モデル「グランドセイコー セルフデーター」は1964年に発売されました。
ファーストモデルとの違いはデイト表示、風防の形状が微妙に曲面になった点です。

また、この第2世代には最初期型、初期型、後期型の3つが存在しており、今回のこの時計はCal.430を搭載した最初期のタイプ。

「Chronometer」の表示も公式にスイスのクロノメーター規格を通過したものでは無いためクレームが入り、初期型以降はGSという表記へ変更されました。
裏蓋には獅子マークのメダリオンが付いています。

90年代に復刻されたGSのベースとなっているデザインなので、ダイアルや針の組み合わせはお馴染みのものと言えるかもしれません。

This is the early model of 43999, later model does not have “Chronometer” print and changed to GS medal.
The dial has an AD symbol.
Of course all the original condition.

The watch is in excellent condition overall.
