These RB turbo rebuild kits use TD04 journal bearings. This kit fits the DAW flow max turbos, but Not all DAW (dynamic auto works) turbos use the same journal bearings or piston rings, this rebuild is specifically for the RB N54 TDO4 turbo
This rebuild kit is advertised for parts to rebuild 1 RB N54 turbo, if you are rebuilding both turbos, you need to purchase 2 rebuild kits.
This rebuild kit includes:
- 2 TDO4 journal bearings
- 1 TDO4 front piston ring
- 1 TDO4 staggered gap rear piston ring seal
- 1 black seal plate oring
- 1 red TDO3 compressor housing oring seal
- 1 superback TDO4 seal plate
- 1 c-clip to retain superback seal plate
- 2 spiral retaining rings to retain the journal bearings in the bearing housing.
- 6 oil feed and coolant feed orings
- 1 oil drain oring
- 1 oil drain gasket
- upgraded 360 degree dual oil port copper bar thrust bearing (oil holes are 1.4mm diameter each
- 14mm upgraded collar and 14mm upgraded spacer
- 1 deflector
- 1 compressor nut
This rebuild kit is not the same as the normal TDO4 rebuild or the TDO3 rebuild kit. This rebuild kit has TDO3 parts such as oil feed and coolant o-rings, tdo3 compressor housing o-ring replaces the tdo4 o-ring, tdo3 oil drain o-ring added, thrust bearing drilled for optional dowel pin location on opposite side). This kit may fit Viv version 1 but does not fit Viv v2 v3 v4 newest version turbo chargers. The DA Flow max and RB N54 turbo uses the same rebuild kit. The mmp kit is similar but it uses TDO4 compressor housing o-rings instead of tdo3 (I have a separate listing for the mmp N54 turbos.
