Plastic model kit, assembly required.  Glue, paint and finishing supplies not included.

The F-4G is a SEAD (Enemy Air Defense Network Suppression) mission-only aircraft that has been modified from the F-4E as a successor to the F-105G.
Various sensors such as AN / APR-38 are used to search for the radar wave and its position emitted from the tracking / guidance radar of the enemy SAM (surface-to-air missile) site or the radar site, and AGM-45, AGM-78, AGM-88. Its main mission is to attack with anti-radar missiles such as, and it is commonly called "Wild Weasel" in the eyes of Itachi crawling on the ground in search of prey.

The F-4G, which is said to be the most successful Wild Weasel aircraft, has been thoroughly reproduced with its accurate appearance and details. You can fully enjoy each type comparison while assembling.

Features of SWS 1/48 F-4G Wild Weasel V

  1. The flight control system of the F-4G that handles dangerous enemy air defense network control missions
In the F-4E / G type, the FCS (Fire Control System) was replaced with AN / APQ-120, which is small and resistant to vibration. Similar to the C / D type, the Navy type has added a control device that was only in the front seats to the rear seats, and the WSO (weapon system officer) can also be operated. Not only does it increase, but it also brings operational benefits such as the need to create a new training aircraft.
The SWS kit reproduces in detail the shape of the hood that covers the upper part of the instrument panel for the rear seats, which is peculiar to the G type. There is no pulling out to the rear-view rearview mirror installed so as to avoid the hood. It is also fun to think about the feelings of the soldiers who are in charge of the SEAD mission while putting themselves at risk.
  2. The unique armament of Wild Weasel required for the mission to suppress the enemy air defense network
In the F-4G, the M61A1 20mm Vulcan cannon x 1 gate on the underside of the nose, which was a feature of the Long type, was removed, and receivers are stored in the antenna fairing newly provided as Wild Weasel. Many large and small antennas are installed in each part of the aircraft to alert, supplement, and analyze enemy radar waves.
On the armament side, a maximum of four AIM-7Es can be mounted on the missile bay under the fuselage, but usually two on the rear Sta.3 / 7. ECM pods such as AN / ALQ-119 and AN / ALQ-131 are mounted on Sta.4 on the lower left side of the nose. Two AGM-88s (up to four) and four AIM-9s can be mounted on the pylon under the main wing, but there are few examples of mounting on the G type.
  3. Color & Marking: F-4G, 52nd TFW, 81st TFS, Sr.no.69-7268 Spangdahlem AB, Germany July 1987
F-4G belonging to the 82nd Tactical Combat Squadron and the 81st Tactical Combat Squadron stationed at the former West Germany Spangdahlem base. Adopted Sr.no.69-7268, 1987 marking. This aircraft was designated as the captain of the 81st Tactical Combat Squadron around the summer of 1987. Also, the characteristic Black Panther mark drawn on the side of the left intake is the mascot of the 81st Tactical Combat Squadron. Also pay attention to the European One camouflage, which is painted in 3 colors including the underside of the aircraft!

    Good Prints for Sublimation
Model: 500N STD, Model: 500N STD
After years of using converted printers for sublimation, I finally decided to go with the Sawgrass printer, which is specifically designed for sublimation. The printer turned out to be very nice! I’m particularly happy about the Sawgrass customer service they provide. Follow-up. I ordered the SG500 printer bundle from Amazon, but unfortunately, the prints had visible grid lines. I promptly reached out to Sawgrass customer service, and after a few emails, they figured out that the printer I received was faulty. It was all resolved within a few hours, which was way faster than I had expected. They immediately sent me a replacement machine and the prints are absolutely beautiful for my sublimation projects. Sawgrass customer service is truly amazing! Over the past three months, I have been using the Sawgrass printer and have identified a shortcoming that I would like to share in my review. While the prints produced by the Sawgrass printer are satisfactory, they fall short of the quality achieved with a printer I previously used for several years. This printer required a conversion to sublimation printing. I have sent a note to Sawgrass inquiring about potential solutions to this issue a couple of months ago, but I have not yet received a response. This suggests that the company may not have a viable remedy. You be the judge. I followed Sawgrass recommendations and used the Sawgrass Print Utility, but no matter what changes I make, the converted printer seems to produce prints much more to my liking. Both of the book markers shown were sublimated at the same time. In the future, when I have an order to complete, I will be opting to use the more affordable printer that I converted.

    Sawgrass quality is excellent
Model: 500N STD, Model: 500N STD
I've been on the fence with Sawgrass, simply because cost can be an issue, but this past week I decided to put the new Sawgrass to the test against another of my printers which I converted for dye sublimation. I also own the Versiflex. I was on the fence with it initially as well, but I've been using it ALOT and I now have it down to an art. I've made shirts for friends and they were literally blown away at the quality of the print, so. . . yes, it is expensive and yes, you get what you pay for. So. . . I recently received the sublijet ink with my new Sawgrass since you cannot mix inks in a Sawgrass, not even to switch the type of ink for risk of damaging the machine. I'm seriously impressed. I made lanyards, T-shirts, bags and the quality is outstanding. I don't know if I'm going to retire my Epson, but the software to print using the Sawgrass print manager is pretty slick. Lots of options to fine tune your print quality. If you have the cash, buy it. If you don't save up. It's worth it. . . and this is coming from a skeptic.

Sawgrass is Always Innovating & Improving!
    Model: 500N STD
I do own a versiflex and already have an expectation of quality and it did not let down. I’ve been running it for a few weeks and I’m honestly proud of what I’ve made. Mugs come out with deep blacks and smooth gradients, coasters are sharp edge to edge, and my poly tees keep their color after the first wash. Setup was fairly simple - drivers, print Manager, paper in, Wi-Fi paired first try. I barely tweak settings; reds, skin tones, and fine text land right without a lot of tinkering. No banding, no weird shifts, and the first print of the day is clean as it has an auto maintenance. For consistent, sellable results, it’s been worth it so far and I highly recommend it.

    Amazing product!
Set name: Sublimation Printer, Set name: Sublimation Printer
All I can say is "WOW". I was skeptical about changing over from my Sawgrass to another brand of sublimation printers. But now I wish I started here from the start! Not only does this machine cost a good amount less with the same paper sizes and options as my SG500 but the ink is cheaper per cartridge and 11ml larger than the standard 30ml I am use to. Set up was super easy, as well as the connection. My prints are bold, bright, and beautiful. I am amazed! I am thankful that the details in the prints show through no matter what material I am pressing on. As a business owner, I need a good, efficient printer that doesn't cost more than the product I am selling. I can't wait to continue using my machine. I have not run into any maintenance issue and can not speak on anything of that as of now. Attached photos; however, my camera did not do it justice.
