- Every XPT should have this breather kit!! We found that the factory clutch venting is not sufficient in properly cooling the belt. Additional venting is needed to prevent belt/clutch wear and failure. This is especially true when adding horsepower. The factory outlet is on the other side of the secondary, making it hard for air to escape on the plastic cover side. This 2.5" vent tube helps reduce temps with our without our CVT blower.
- Drops belt temps 20-30 degrees on average
- Some cutting of factory plastics is necessary
- Installation is easy and the breather is dirt and water tight
- Fits under the factory clutch pre-filter for a factory look that functions
- You will need a 2-3/4" hole saw for installation
- **The tube going to the clutch cover fits on the adapter loosely (3" ID tube going to a 2.5" OD tube). We have a half inch gap to make up with the supplied worm clamp. If you are not okay with making up the gap with the clamp (seals and works perfectly fine) then do not purchase this product. ** We try to make things as perfect as possible, but sometimes working with suppliers and having low volume items... you have to work with what you can. This is by far the nicest breather on the market, and this is the only "issue" with this product.

Keep em soft and lasting!

Oh wow are these things soft. I bought them for my RV and Toy Hauler beds and they feel terrific. They are warm and probably won't come apart on you if you take care of them. The trick to that for me seems to be not to let them get "Crunchy". If you've owned these before you know what I mean. When the backing material begins to go and they fall apart in tiny chunks.
This pro-tip is how mine have lasted longer than I had hoped:
1. Wash them in cold water. Hot water tends to get to these things after a few washed. Very little agitation as well. Don't spin them round and round and rip them up. Wash on the gentle cycle.
2. No bleach, color safe or not, and try to use very little detergent or use something like Woolite for delicates. Baby clothes detergent also works well. Something super mild.
3. Dry them with no or very little heat on a very low tumble. I tend to do the two I have together and that's all I put in the dryer.
Mine have held up amazingly well for the abuse they take and they are a fluffy as new. This is a win product for the price, you won't regret it if you take care of it.

We have this blanket sandwiched between our top sheet and comforter. My husband feels nice and warm with the blanket, but I'm a warm sleeper. I feel comfortable also since a keep a floor fan aimed to my side of the bed. Problem solved and we both get a comfortable, good night's sleep.
