Night Walks is the brand new glittering, nocturnal album from Sarah Nixey. Written whilst struggling with insomnia, the songs are set in a metropolitan sub-world where everyone dodges the dangers of reality. The lyrics describe episodes that take place over one night, spanning several decades, in a tiny enclave, at the heart of London's bohemia. Night Walks is a modern, sophisticated album, rooted in classic record making. Nixey won over audiences as the singer of darkly glamorous pop group Black Box Recorder. Since then, Nixey has honed her own musical voice with an eclectic solo career. Night Walks arrives seven years since her second solo album Brave Tin Soldiers. This time, she wanted to use a blend of electronica and classic 1970s analogue recording. A few years ago, Nixey had just started writing and recording again at her home studio, after taking a break from music to have her third child, but was forced to stop when she became ill. She had entered a long phase of insomnia, which no doubt contributed to her illness, and this sleeplessness continued during her recovery period. In 2016, she began writing songs again, during the early hours of the morning. As Nixey explains; "I discovered that the best time to write songs was in the middle of the night, and without any interruptions, I also recorded the demo tracks then too." Her writer/producer husband Jimmy Hogarth then offered to help record the songs in the studios they own and run in North West London. The songs in Night Walks, like Nixey's previous solo albums, are full of characters who are often either hanging on or slipping away. She explores themes such as mental health illness ("Coming Up For Air" talks of teenage mental health illness and parental love - as Sarah notes it's "the antithesis of Black Box Recorder's Child Psychology", and "Burning Bridges"), England at war ("The Zeppelin" - set in war torn England with Queen of Bohemia Nina Hamnett watching a Zeppelin go up in flames, along with the love of her life, and "Merry England" about post-war slum clearances and lose of community) and night time adventures with mid twentieth century London bohemians ("Tiger Woman", "Neon Moon" and "Follow Me" - about the allure of nightlife and drunken escapism). With whip smart lyrics and an ear for an adventurous avant-pop tune, it's Sarah's captivating voice that truly mesmerises. Alternating between a soft whisper, rhythmic talking and full-blown soprano, she manages to encapsulate inky dark nights bathed in a neon-glow, full of desperation, mystery and passion.1 Coming Up For Air 2 The Zeppelin 3 Burning Bridges 4 Merry England 5 Journey 6 Love Is Blue 7 Night Walks 8 Dancing At The Edge Of The World 9 Neon Moon 10 Tiger Woman 11 Follow Me 12 The Planet Of Dreams

Adorable & Tough Rose Toy Perfect for Aggressive Chewers 🌹🐶
Color: Light Pink, Pattern Name: Roses, Color: Light Pink, Pattern Name: Roses
I bought this rose-shaped rubber toy for my dog and I’m honestly so impressed! The pink and green design is super cute and unique it really stands out from typical dog toys.
My dog is a pretty aggressive chewer, and this toy has held up really well. The rubber feels durable and strong, but still has enough flexibility to keep him interested and engaged. He absolutely loves playing with it and carries it around everywhere.
What I love most is that the textured rose design actually helps clean his teeth while he chews, which is a huge bonus. It’s like playtime and dental care in one!
If you have a strong chewer and want something functional but also aesthetically cute, this is a great choice. Definitely a new favorite in our house 🐾💗

Keep repurchasing
Color: Red, Pattern Name: Roses, Color: Red, Pattern Name: Roses
I bought these as a cute Valentine’s Day present for my dog. He typically destroys any toy within 10 minutes of giving it to him. This rose lasts months and it’s his favorite. He could chew this toy for hours. Every couple of months he’ll get a small chunk of the stem off but the rest of the rose stays intact. He’s good about dropping and leaving the chunk he rips off but I’d just keep a cautious eye on your dog if you notice a piece is starting to break away. (Side note: when a piece does start breaking off, my husband and I both struggle and typically can’t rip it off) We let him play with it until it’s just the flower and then throw it away and repurchase.
He also loves to play fetch with it. It’s not super bouncy but does have a little bit of a bounce if thrown on a hard ground. All we have to say is “Opie where’s your rose?” He goes running to his toy box and acts as a claw machine to get his rose specifically.

Amazing
Okay, our pups Belle 4 years (Lab and ?) and Chomp 1year old (Blue Nose Pit) could never keep a chew toy for more than an hour or two. Everything we bought them and everything in the Bark Box 📦 we ordered for them would be destroyed immediately.
I felt so bad, they were so excited to get these toys only to have them taken away so they didn't choke to death. I used to tell my hubby that I was going to send a challenge letter to various toy manufacturers daring them to make a chew toy that could contend with my "Aggressive Chewers".
Well, low and behold, I purchased this chew toy and after daily continous chewing and playing it is still in one piece, beat up, but in one piece. My Pit, Chomp, chews on this ALL THE TIME and it is in one piece. Bravo, your company has produced the best by far chew toy for, as you call them, "Aggressive Chewers".
Thank you so much.
Bill and Teri Rockenstein.

Probably Great for Any Normal Creature
Ok to be fair my lab/pit destroys anything he touches, and this kept him occupied for a solid week before he tore it to shreds. He absolutely adored it, chewed it, played keep away and tug of war with it, but like all toys he loved it too hard. Still yet to find something he doesn't decimate and honestly it may not exist, but this certainly withstood more than many a chew toy can claim. If you don't have a wood chipper for a pet, I'd highly recommend.

Tough enough for Pitt mix
Color: Red, Pattern Name: Roses
Buy it! Boy or girl who cares it’s a rose! Haven’t found a tough chew toy for a while. My Pitt mix has been going at it for three days with a tiny chunk off and that’s all. She pants while chewing then passes out!
