Six Questions Your Premier Pools & Spas Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this franchise unit financial model using detailed industry research to ensure your projections are grounded in reality. Key assumptions, such as the $2.1M year-one revenue target and the 3.5% royalty fee, are pre-populated and fully editable to match your specific market conditions.

Write the first super-short strategic question on Premier Pools & Spas Franchise franchise unit financial model. Re-frase, but keep the same sence: What is the profitability trajectory?

When does the unit turn a profit?

You reach profitability quickly, with the unit hitting monthly breakeven by March 2026. This franchise profitability analysis shows year-one EBITDA starting at $840,000 and climbing steadily to over $4M by the end of year five as your project volume increases.

Improve Profitability

  • Optimize subcontractor schedules
  • Upsell premium 3D features
  • Minimize construction waste
[dynamic_pic9]
Write the second super-short strategic question on Premier Pools & Spas Franchise franchise unit financial model. Re-frase, but keep the same sence: How much capital is required and how is it allocated (Sources & Uses)?

How much capital is needed for launch?

You need $315,000 for initial capital expenditure budget items plus a significant cash buffer for the ramp-up period. The lowest cash point occurs in March 2026 at $1,013,000, which represents the total liquidity you should have available to safely launch the business.

Major Uses of Funds

  • $80,000 Showroom Fit-out
  • $60,000 Company Vehicles
  • $45,000 Initial Franchise Fee
  • $50,000 Construction Equipment
[dynamic_pic10]
Write the third super-short strategic question on Premier Pools & Spas Franchise franchise unit financial model. Re-frase, but keep the same sence: What is the return on investment?

What is the expected return?

The return on investment analysis shows a strong IRR of 21.35% and a return on equity of 12.07%. While the initial heavy investment in a showroom and equipment means full payback occurs after year 5, the cash flow generation is defintely robust once the unit is mature.

Investor Metrics

  • 21.35% Internal Rate of Return
  • 12.07% Return on Equity
  • $4.038M Year 5 EBITDA
[dynamic_pic11]
Write the fourth super-short strategic question on Premier Pools & Spas Franchise franchise unit financial model. Re-frase, but keep the same sence: What is the break-even point?

What is the break-even level?

You hit the monthly break-even point in March 2026, just three months after starting operations. The primary driver is your average ticket for custom pools, which must cover $15,000 in monthly rent and $475,000 in annual base salaries for your core team.

Reach Break-Even Faster

  • Pre-sell projects during fit-out
  • Target high-income zip codes
  • Maximize designer productivity
[dynamic_pic12]
Write the fifth super-short strategic question on Premier Pools & Spas Franchise franchise unit financial model. Re-frase, but keep the same sence: What is the cash runway and lowest cash point?

What is the lowest cash point?

The construction business financial model template identifies March 2026 as your lowest cash point at $1,013,000. You need enough runway to cover the initial six months of fixed costs and marketing before the first major project payments clear.

Protect Your Cash

  • Phase vehicle leasing starts
  • Negotiate rent abatement periods
  • Manage subcontractor pay cycles
[dynamic_pic13]
Write the sixth super-short strategic question on Premier Pools & Spas Franchise franchise unit financial model. Re-frase, but keep the same sence: How do Low, Medium, and High scenarios change the outcome?

How do different scenarios impact results?

Financial forecasting for pool construction business shows that a 10% drop in revenue can delay your payback, but the high-margin nature of luxury home service franchises provides a safety net. A high-case scenario driven by better sales conversion can significantly increase your year-one $840k EBITDA.

Drive High-Case Growth

  • Partner with luxury builders
  • Optimize digital ad spend
  • Increase showroom foot traffic

Great for big dogs
Size: Medium, Number of Items: 1
Our pup is now 15 months old (nearly 110 lb and still growing). We got this ball when he was 3 or 4 months old. GOODS - - Our pup fetches with extreme drive, and the rope helps him quickly snatch the ball off the ground (versus a tennis ball, in which we are worried he will go head over heels at times) - Our pup also loves to play fetch in the water, and this ball floats great and again, the rope gives another point to bite onto - The yellow color is easy to see, even in grass - Our pup typically fetches the ball, and leaves the rope mostly out of his mouth. So, throwing the ball doesn't result in saliva-covered hands - It's pretty easy to throw the ball 50', and possible to throw it 100' - It doesn't roll/bounce, so if you are for example playing fetch on your front lawn and are concerned with a tennis ball rolling into the street, this one alleviates that issue - Our pup is spoiled and has several balls. This is absolutely his go to ball. We have woken up in the morning before to see him standing next to the bed with the ball in his mouth, asking us to get up and play. BADS - - Occasionally when he goes to fetch it, he will step on the rope as he tries to pull up on the ball. - We have gotten this ball stuck in trees multiple times. In fact, there is one stuck on the roof of our church from playing fetch on the lawn there. :-/ Not a fault of the ball, but if you start whipping it around like nunchucks, it might not go where you want. - The near max you can through this ball is 100'. And since it doesn't roll/bounce, throw distance is throttled. We often play fetch in a local baseball field, and have no issue wearing him out with this ball. However, if you are planning on throwing a ball the distance of half a football field, you might want to consider something else. SIZE - - We purchased both the medium and the large. Even though our pup is huge and can fit a soccer ball in his mouth, he still prefers the medium. It's easier for him to get in his mouth and breath while running back. The medium is the size of an orange, whereas the large is the size of a grapefruit. DURABILITY - - We have gone through about 4 of these balls, BUT this is because we lost 3 of them. We believe he dropped one out of the car window while we were driving, one is on the roof of our church, and I forget about the other one. On the first one we had, the stitching behind the black tape was down to a few threads after about 5 months. Given duration we use these balls (every day) and the joy he gets from them, I feel the durability is good for the price. - We do play tug with the ball at times, and no issues there Enjoy!

Good but better options out there.
Good ball, but is a cheaper version of the Foamster sold online. The rope is cheap and comes apart, and can be abrasive to a dogs mouth. The Foamster uses a higher quality ball and are more durable and use grippy biothane straps rather than cheap rope. They are also made to order in the USA with lots of fun colors. Worth the extra money if your dog likes these balls.

Fun toy for fetch
Size: Medium, Number of Items: 1
Daisy loves this toy. I found it from her dog trainer, and it makes rewarding her with a quick tug of war and fetch really easy. Also it’s shockingly durable. It looks like foam, but she has not destroyed this one.

Definitely recommend, great product!
Color: Grey
Absolutely amazing and great quality. My two chihuahuas have been digging and ripping up potty pads since they were babies. They are now 1 year and 3 months old and still do that. I tried reusable potty pads for a while and washing them, but eventually the smell and amount of time wasn’t worth it anymore. And I was looking for something else. I found these and ordered 3 of these potty trays and they are incredible. They can’t chew the disposable potty pads and they do great with this. I highly recommend! It took about 3 days for them to adjust to the feeling of the material but now they are comfortable. I wipe the top daily and change the disposable potty pads. Then once a week I clean with vinegar and water and towels or just soap and I sometimes spray down with hose outside. It makes it much faster and easier. It still takes work to keep it clean but it’s much better than cleaning up ripped up potty pads every day. It’s a great value also for the price and definitely I can tell is going to last a long time. For reference my dogs are 10 pounds, they are overweight right now and loosing weight, but this completely holds them and is very sturdy, even when both are on it at the same time. They use as their main bathroom area as it is not safe for them to go outside alone because there are coyotes in the area. And when I’m at work they have access to a potty area all day. I definitely recommend for dogs this size and am so happy I found a product that works for my home. Also the grey color is great and matches well in my home.

Absolute LIFESAVER.
Color: Black
A must-buy for any puppy owner that uses potty pads. Our pup still hasn't had all of her parvo boosters and has had to stay inside at all times. She is usually very good about going on her potty pads, but has a terrible habit of grabbing the pad and flinging waste everywhere and tearing the pad itself apart. This potty pad holder is PERFECT. It is sturdy and the grated tray fits in neatly. The dog is unable to get to the puppy pad, no matter how hard she bites or paws at the sides. Believe me, I've seen her try. We bought other puppy pad holders that were cheaper, but she was able to rip the puppy pad out of them easily. It is also really easy to clean. The plastic can easily be washed with soap and water or sprayed and wiped with antibacterial spray. The potty pad itself usually soaks up all of the urine, so there is never any worry of overflow. The only critique I have is that the rectangular shape is somewhat a poor design, because most potty pads are square-shaped. This means that the owner has to fold a standard potty pad in order to fit the tray. But this is not a huge problem, as we're still very happy with the product. Overall, it's worth the money, because now I don't have to worry about cleaning a huge mess, disciplining my pup for the behavior, or any health scares from her eating plastic from the potty pads. We loved the first one so much, that we bought a second one.
