A Visionary of Naïve Art. Tim Brown (1923) is a remarkable African American artist known for his raw, untrained yet deeply expressive style. His paintings, created on wooden panels, capture the vivid memories of his youth—family, friends, river fishing, farm work, and his loyal dog, Bark. Growing up on his parents’ farm in Mississippi, Brown first painted on scrap wood and planks using leftover house paint. By the 1950s, he began documenting his childhood memories, driven by a desire to share his past with his two children.

Brown’s paintings from the 1970s, available here, are a rare glimpse into his nostalgic world, beautifully rendered with vibrant colors. His work exudes a unique, youthful energy, making him stand apart from any other artist in his genre. Now, his art is gaining international recognition, with exhibitions at renowned institutions such as Kunsthal, Museum Belvedère, Museum Charlotte Zander, and Museum Dr. Guislain.

These original wooden pieces come with a professional hanging system and are ready to display. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a piece of Tim Brown’s legacy.

Great little watch for the money
Color: Brown/Brown/Natural, Color: Brown/Brown/Natural
I've just received the watch, so I can't comment on the durability. Hopefully it lasts a long time, because I really like this watch. My first impression of the watch was that it was a bit smaller than what I'm used to wearing. But when I put it on, it seemed like a good fit. The band looks great and feels pretty comfortable. I like the color of the band, and of the watch face itself. Even with my older eyes (56 years), I can easily read the time. The date, not so much. It's pretty tiny. Setting the time and date was pretty simple. And even though I knew this watch had it, I stumbled upon activating the Indiglo feature by accident. It's pretty cool, btw. Some people have commented on the ticking. The environment in which I wear the watch is never completely silent, even at home. I have to put the watch pretty close to my ear to hear it, and I have good hearing. When I do hear it, it's actually a pleasant sound to me. To sum it all up, I love this watch! I actually do a little watch collecting. This is by far the least expensive watch I own. And now, the one I'll wear the most.
