Raz Ohara released Moksha (ALB 001CD/LP) in February 2014 and it was the first release on Album Label, the new label from Shitkatapult at the time. Moksha was never meant to dictate the direction of the new imprint in terms of content. But despite this, the album could be heard as a kind of label manifesto. Moksha demands attention and time. And this is precisely what the makers of Album Label are about: listening to records and having the composure and powers of concentration required to do so. One year later, Oliver Doerell, aka Cummi Flu (of Dictaphone and Swod) drops Z (ALB 004CD/LP, 2015). It is an entirely different kind of music from Moksha, less volatile and blurred, percussive and transparent instead. Yet it is an album that belongs right here on this label, one that demands time from it's listener. Cummi Flu, who likes to generate percussion loops from the twangs of various rubber bands, creates loops with the help of all possible and impossible tone generators. What happens now when these complex, gyroscopic sounds are deflected and distorted, when you send them through the Raz Ohara grinder, so to speak? Gnawing tracks emerge from field recordings, acoustic instruments, synthesizers and kitchen utensils. It appears that not only do Ohara and Doerell get along well, but they complement each other splendidly. Together they create an extremely fine psychedelia, a kind of dark psychedelic classicism or urban voodoo music. y is a jungle album for listeners to lose themselves in. The longer you listen, the less you are interested in determining the origins of individual sounds. It's as if the sum of the music and it's psychedelic effect mask all rational thought, as if the music takes over control. Soul fragments, sung by Raz Ohara, in his broken yet commanding style, waft around the extraterrestrial sound loops. Again comes the dark voodoo tapping, Ohara's sharp inhale, after which the listener immediately hears his voice creaking and scratching, maniacally, as if it were part of a cultish act. Various time signatures are intertwined, generating polyrhythmic infinity. And before the extremely filtered flute loops regain the upper hand, the music suddenly grabs your heart and moves you in the same way the soundtrack of your youth perhaps once did. "New polyrhythmic and psychedelic incarnation. Sounding like the music of forgotten people from Venus."

Three Speeds, Two Charge Options, Three Interchangeable Whisk Heads
I like this electric milk frother—it enables you to simulate café-style drinks at home. Three speed settings make it easy to switch from mixing matcha to whipping up thick, creamy foam for lattes. It also comes with three interchangeable whisk heads, so it is not just for coffee—I made French Toast with it the 1st time out. It can handle other tasks, like blending eggs, cream, and even protein shakes. The LED battery level display is up front right below the power button and shows state of charge as well as increasing battery level during the charging cycle. The dual charging options—either the magnetic charge stand or the USB-C charge port on the side of the motor—make it convenient for home or for travel. Best of all, all the detachable whisk heads clean up fast, so using it daily does not feel like a chore. I will say that I prefer a momentary one-speed switch instead of cycling the speeds (9K RPM, 11K RPM & 13K RPM) with the power switch. It spins up very fast and to shut it off you have to keep pressing the power button through faster speeds and before you can shut it off, it overflows the cup sometimes. You can also long press the power button to turn it off, but it usually takes too long and still overflows—I wish it was more controllable. I found that the corkscrew-hook head is the best of the three to tame that effect.

Good companion to a coffee setup
This electric frother is a great companion to have in a kitchen/coffee setup and I've been using it to mix my morning coffee. The frother includes a stand which serves as the charging base and multiple attachments (likely won't really see too much use realistically). My only downside is that the stand situation is a bit lackluster as the wireless charging feature requires you to line up the two pins at the top to the stand and balance the frother. Alternatively the frother also has a USB C charging port (sadly not USB C compliant as it can't be charged via USB c to c). The frother itself cycles between different levels of speed when you press the button and it is pretty strong; being able to very easily swirl and mix large amounts of coffee leaving mine nice and frothy. I've also been using this to mix drink powder mixes to great effectiveness. The other attatchments don't really hold too much value to me (other than maybe the whisk for eggs) but is nice to have other options included. Overall this frother is a massive step up over me using a spoon to stir my coffee.

My coffee is now judging your coffee.
I’m a simple man. All I wanted was decent foam on my morning coffee without paying $7 at Starbucks like a sucker. What I got instead is this charcoal black, LED-equipped, triple-whisk, rocket-powered milk frother that feels like it should have a NASA logo on it. This thing has three speeds and an actual digital battery display. I caught myself staring at the 1% accuracy battery percentage like it was the stock market. “We’re at 87%… we’re still frothing kings today.” The magnetic charging dock is so satisfying it should be illegal. I literally say “goodnight” to it when I put it back on the stand. The spring whisk? Velvety microfoam so perfect my wife asked if I was having an affair with a barista. The balloon whisk made whipped cream so fluffy my kids thought it was a cloud that fell into their hot chocolate. And the hook whisk? Blended my protein shake with zero lumps, a miracle previously only achieved by professional athletes and people with patience. Battery life is ridiculous. I’ve been using it twice a day for two weeks and it’s still at 64%. This frother could survive a zombie apocalypse better than I could. The only real downside? I now judge other people’s coffee foam in public. Saw a sad flat latte the other day and whispered “that man doesn’t own the Dropology frother…” If you like coffee, matcha, hot chocolate, or just feeling like a kitchen god, buy this immediately. It’s the most over-engineered $30-ish gadget I’ve ever loved. 10/10 would froth again.

Powerful and I love the charging base and attachments
This is surprisingly more powerful than I thought it would be. It will whip up an egg for scrambled eggs as well as froth your milk. It came with 3 attachments and a charging base. You can charge it using the base or directly in to the frother using the included usbc. I have had battery operated frothers that really weren't that great. This one is blows them all away. I use it mainly to stir my coffee and scramble my eggs and I'm sure I will find many more ways to use it. Its a great value and looks nice on my counter top.

Can't turn it off quickly. Charging stand falls over easily.
This Electric Milk Frother Handheld: Wireless Starlight Black comes with three stainless steel mixer attachments, a charging cable, and a stand that holds the frother with magnets. The attachments are friction fit, they are easy to change and stay securely in place. The frother has three speeds, the speed changes by pressing the On button. Which is why I deducted one star. The problem is you can not turn the frother off quickly. You have to either cycle through the speeds, or hold the button for 2 seconds. When making a chocolate drink, I could not turn the frother off when my drink was about to spill and it made a mess. I recommend getting a frother with a momentary on off button that you hold down to keep it running and let off to stop it. I removed a second star because the base of the charger is narrow and light making it easy to fall over. It has to be taped to the counter with double sided tape.
