Engineered for riders obsessed with speed, the Eclipse Pro is designed to win, blending our most advanced aerodynamics with category-leading protection and all-day comfort.

From breakaway victories at the Tour de France to record-setting wins at Leadville Trail 100, the Eclipse Pro is advanced engineering for riders obsessed with speed. The result of deep collaboration with the world's fastest pros, endlessly refined with CFD in the Giro lab and then proven in the windtunnel, the Eclipse Pro is 17% faster than the legendary Eclipse. With superior protection from Spherical Technology powered by Mips® and Aura II reinforcement, all-day cooling power and comfort from 15 Wind Tunnel vents and the DryCore sweat management system brow pad, and an ultra light weight that rivals the lightest full-vented road helmets, the Eclipse Pro is designed to win.

FEATURES:

  • Spherical Technology: Spherical Technology's Ball-and-Socket design; powered by Mips®; helps redirect impact forces away from the brain by allowing the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash. It also eliminates contact with hard plastic or slip-planes against the skin.
  • 15 Wind Tunnel Vents: Giro helmets are engineered with our proprietary Wind Tunnel venting system. This elaborate design combines active vents in the helmet's shell with exhaust channels inside the helmet that thrust cool; fresh air over and around the rider's head while forcing heat and stale air out.
  • Ultra Low Weight: At a mere 280g (medium CPSC) this aero road helmet is lighter than many competitor’s fully-vented ‘climbing’ helmets.
  • Aura II Reinforcing Arch: The shatter-resistant and translucent Aura II Reinforcing Arch runs throughout the helmet; bolstering structural integrity and allowing massive vents for cooling.
  • DryCore™: The DryCore™ sweat management system utilizes an internal silicone bead to redirect moisture away from the rider's brow and eliminate the irritation of sweat dripping into the eyes.
  • Progressive Layering™: Giro helmets designed with Progressive Layering™ use dual-density EPS foam liners to address high- and low-speed impacts for more comprehensive energy management.
  • Deep Internal Channeling: The inner liner of the helmet is aggressively engineered to assist air flowing through the helmet; working in conjunction with our Wind Tunnel vents to provide an easy pathway for cool air to flow in and hot air to exhaust out.
  • Roc Loc® 5.5 Air Fit System: Using a patented design that suspends the helmet just slightly off the top of the skull; Roc Loc® 5.5 Air allows cool airflow to pass directly over your head; further enhancing the performance of vents and internal channeling that exhaust heat out of the helmet. Fit and adjustments mimic the Roc Loc 5; allowing you to easily custom fine-tune fit tension and fore-aft tilt in seconds using just one hand. Reflective decals provide added visibility.
  • IONIC+ ® Padding: Pure silver is the ingredient that gives IONIC+® padding the power to provide permanent; natural odor protection to keep your helmet feeling fresh.

SPECS:

  • Weight: 280g (Size M)
  • 17% faster than current model.
  • Designed using CFD to optimize aerodynamics.
  • Validated by wind tunnel testing.
  • 15 vents optimized for cooling and aerodynamics.
  • Front center vent designed to split air to the forehead and over the brow for aerodynamic efficiency.

Perfect for High-Drive Dogs & Surprisingly Durable (six month review)
I use this ring ball for structured fetch and tug sessions with my high-drive German Shepherd mix (91 lbs. at 10 mon.), and it’s easily the best toy we’ve added to our routine. What makes it truly exceptional is how it allows my dog to engage in the full canine predatory sequence: • Chase: He locks in visually and bolts after the ring when I throw it. • Grab & Hold: He brings it back, pins it against my leg, and bites down firmly (the toy—not the leg!)—his way of acting out the natural catch-and-control behavior. • Unalive & Tug: We finish with a strong tug session, which satisfies his instinct to grip and shake—basically his version of “making the toy unalive.” • Settle & Chew: Afterward, he relaxes with a chew toy or eats—completing the full physical and mental cycle in a healthy, balanced way. Durability is outstanding—this toy stands up to intense tug sessions with no tearing or damage, even with a 91 lb powerhouse. My senior dog also joins in for double tug play, and it holds up beautifully to that too. I don’t leave this toy down for chewing—it’s not a chew toy. I use it specifically for fetch and tug, then put it away when we’re done. This keeps it exciting and extends its lifespan. My dog has other chew toys he can use freely throughout the day. This isn’t just another fetch toy—when thoughtful it provides a structured, instinct-satisfying experience that’s mentally enriching and physically engaging. If you have a high-drive or working breed, or a dog who thrives on interactive play, this ring ball is 100% worth it.

Finally, a toy my dog hasn’t murdered
If your dog destroys toys like it’s their full-time job, this stick is the boss-level challenge they didn’t see coming. I gave it to my power-chewer (a pit mix with jaws of steel), and after a week of gnawing, tossing, and dramatic tug-of-war battles, it’s still intact. Not even a dent. I think it might be made of space-grade rubber or the same stuff they use in black boxes. It’s got a good weight to it — heavy enough to feel solid, light enough to toss without pulling a shoulder. No squeaker, no fluff, no sad stuffing guts all over the living room. Just pure chewable glory. Pros: • Actually indestructible (or close enough) • Great for aggressive chewers • No squeaker = peace and quiet • Easy to clean and doesn’t smell weird • Doubles as a fetch toy and chew stick Minor feedback: It’s a bit heavy for small dogs, and it doesn’t bounce or squeak — but if your dog’s into serious chewing, they won’t care. Also, don’t drop it on your foot. Trust me. Final thoughts: This toy is the Chuck Norris of dog sticks. If your pup has shredded everything else, give this a shot. It might just survive — and so might your sanity.

Durable
If you have an aggressive chewer this will hold up for about a month. After about a month of daily use my police k9 will get the ends off. Is it completely indestructible no, does it hold up better then any other toy he’s had absolutely. When you have a dog with super high toy drive you understand nothing is indestructible but I will say a month for a toy to last with my dog is great and I accept the fact I just have to buy new toys monthly. For reference my dog will destroy a Kong in about half the time.

GREAT DURABILITY FOR MY XL SUPER CHEWER !
My dog LOVESSSSS this toy. It’s definitely one of her favorites! I have a Pit-Mastiff mix and she loves to chew toys, but her breed also means she’s got an outrageous amount of strength in those jaws, making it hard to find toys that can last without getting torn up super easily. We typically buy Kong “Super Chewer” toys and this has held up better than those! We’ve had it a good few months and it’s super durable. She gnaws on this thing every day for a good bit of time, and it doesn’t have any weak spots, holes, chunks missing, NOTHING, except a few dimples. It’s firm but also has give to it that (I think) really provides a good chewing option. It’s got enough weight and give to it that I can throw it for her and it’ll bounce without flying around crazy like some toys. The toy itself is not super cute, but my dog definitely is when she’s carrying it around everywhere 🥹 My only con is that I wish it came in other colors! I was surprised that she liked it so much because she typically prefers bright colored toys like red/orange/blue/green. It took some time, but once she warmed up to it and realized she could chew as hard as she wanted on it, it was game over from there.
