Skarsten presents not merely an account of the pursuits in which Drouillard engaged but also an idea of the kind of man he was, as a member of the famous expedition and later as a partner of Manuel Lisa in the fur trade. The variety of responsibilities assigned to Drouillard during the expedition form an impressive list--recruiting personnel, message bearing, retrieving a deserter, pursuing strayed and stolen horses, trading for horses and canoes, horse gelding, and serving as riverboat helmsman, diplomat to the Indians, and boon companion to Lewis--in addition to the hunting and interpreting for which he was specifically hired. Skarsten also pays detailed attention to Drouillard's fur-trade activities, including his trial for the murder of Bissonette, his attempt to trade with the Blackfeet, and later his death at their hands in 1810. Robert C. Soft, but pricey, kinda shiny, and retains pet hair/lint

So I’ll start by saying that I’ve bought many Bedsure products in the past. This one does not disappoint, but I also don’t feel like it’s 5 stars.
It washed well and feels nice. Overall it’s a great duvet cover, but there’s three things I don’t personally like:
1. The price. Compared to their other covers, this one seems steep (though it’s probably the material that makes it more expensive?).
2. The material is somewhat shiny. I wasn't expecting that, and I don’t dig it. I’ve never had a cover that shines like this one does.
3. Pet hair retention is especially noticeable on this darker duvet (see photo). I’m sure this is either the fabric or the weave that causes this.
For these three things, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. That said, if you can snag this during a sale (and you don’t have pets or don’t mind hair clinging to the cover), go for it!

Yes, it’s organic cotton!
After buying two other “100 % organic cotton” duvet covers on Amazon that turned out to be polyester/blends, I was happy to find an honest company and product. The duvet cover washes well, had no detectable odor out of the package, and is a good weight. I love the hidden zipper closure and find that it gets softer with use. I hope the zipper stays intact with prolonged use and gentle wash cycle.
Note that I almost bought this in white but realized it’s a different material (bamboo) based on the product description. If you are looking at different colors, check the material carefully before buying.

I am 100% happy with this duvet set!

Wow! I am very impressed with the quality of this duvet set. I love the design of the subtle black double Embroidery. I thought it was made very well unlike one other person said in their review. I find it elegant and luxurious to look at and feel. It’s very comfortable and I like 100% cotton. This is a thicker cotton but it’s cool for sleeping. It’s also not too stiff, unless you want that then you can easily iron it to be that way. I prefer it right out of the washer and dryer for a classy but cozy look! They are exactly like a set I’ve had my eye on in a fine linen store in Palm Beach. Exceptional value!
