Extremo Nihilismo en Barcelona is the sound of a slow cooking bomb. The 8 tracks of anxious hardcore contained within this 45 RPM 12" are pretty much what it says on the tin. Extreme, Nihilist and utterly Barcelonian. The sound of the eternal frustration with your surroundings. The soundtrack of falling out with everyone around you. Musically filled with a solid yet counter intuitive rhythm section, insanely violent riffs and the angriest and the most credible female vocalist since FIRMEZA 10 stopped playing. The barely 11 minutes of music contained on this 12" rate amongst the most claustrophobic hardcore sound I've ever heard. The package of the record was taken care by Oriol Roca (one of the greatest artists alive in my humble opinion and incidentally the drummer of BARCELONA) which reflects the vibe of the record flawlessly adding yet another layer of meaning to the whole project.

Mom says they have been working so far for that bloated feeling
As of late she's been getting more discomfort and these have been helping her with indigestion. They seem to be working as intended but of course she will continue to use them for a longer period so that hopefully those symptoms she was having reside. She likes that it overall helps support metabolism and balances the gut. The natural ingredients are a plus. Doesn't have to worry about any GMO's and additives. After the bottle runs out I'll probably buy another for her since they seem to help her upset stomach.

Video lectures, just as the subtitle promises
I was seduced into buying this set on the basis of NT Wright's reputation and advertising graphics showing Holy Land locations. Consequently, I didn't pay sufficient attention to the subtitle: "The New Testament in Its World: Video Lectures." And "lectures" is exactly what this set delivers. Talking heads, lecturing on the New Testament; sometimes in a studio, sometimes in eastern Mediterranean locations.
The content is solid evangelical biblical scholarship. My disappointment is the almost complete lack of engagement with the spectacular settings much of these films are shot in. It seems to me that Wright and his producers missed a real opportunity by failing more explicitly to relate their lecture content to the places where they're standing.
I give this set a three-star rating. The lectures are a perfectly fine introduction to the New Testament, if that's what you're looking for -- but you could put them on CDs or MP3s and listen in the car. The graphics add very little to these presentations.
