Located on the arid western end of the Himalayas where the meet the Karakorams and the Hindu Kush, Pakistan has the perfect high desert climate for melons and stone fruit.

Heera Mandi, also known as the "Diamond Quarter" is a neighborhood in Lahore, Pakistan, whose narrow streets and buildings date back to the 15th through 18th centuries.

Sometimes referred to as the Royal Neighborhood (Shahi Mohalla), Heera Mandi was originally the center of Lahore’s tawaif (concubine) culture. The tawaif were highly sophisticated and wealthy entertainers catering to the nobility during the Mughal era. Like geisha in the Japanese tradition, tawaif were masters of etiquette and rigorously trained in music, dance, theater, and literature. Originating with the Hindu nobility, this tradition existed on the Indian subcontinent for over 2000 years.

The puritanical and hypocritical regimes of both the British Raj and now the Islamic Republic of Pakistan drove the tawaif underground and to near extinction. Today shabby, littered and poorly maintained, Heera Mandi is still an area for entertainers, musicians, instrument shops, prostitutes and colorful characters – but only as a shadow of its former glory.

PHOTO PRINTS
Prints are on Hahnemuhle heavyweight (315 gsm) 100% archival cotton “Photo Rag Baryta” paper, using archival inks and archival spray coating. They have a 200-year life expectancy before any deterioration of the print will be observed when stored, handled, and displayed under archival conditions.

CANVAS PRINTS
What is often called “Gallery Wrap Canvas” is a fine art inkjet (Giclee) print on canvas, with printed edges to wrap around a wooden stretcher frame, like a painting. With canvas prints, your print image is still the same size, but given a "wrap effect" around the edges to account for the thickness of the stretcher. Canvas can be rolled and shipped with no effect to the print. Your local framing shop should be able to mount the canvas to stretchers at a fraction of the cost of traditional framing, making for an overall more economical way to get fine art on your wall. The canvas is printed to wrap around a 1-inch stretcher (1.5 inches on larger sizes). Specifications will be provided with your order. Feel free to contact us if you need guidance with your canvas order.

John prints, titles, dates, and signs all of his photos.

Great for dogs
Color: blue
My dog is obsessed with this! I put plain yogurt thinned with homemade broth in it and he’s entertained for a good 15 minutes, as well as being fairly calm afterward.

Great bowl, would love this in a larger size
Color: blue
This is a great way to treat your dog! I filled it with a bit of plain yogurt drink diluted with water, and my dog absolutely loved it. It only took him about 3-5 minutes to finish it, but he’s about 60lbs, so maybe a bigger size bowl would be better for him. Max capacity of this one is 190 ml. You do have to monitor your dog with this bowl - mine tried to dismantle the bowl when it was empty, trying to get more out of it. Overall I think it’s a fun way to get your dog to drink a little bit more with diluted yogurt, broth, etc.

My dog loves it!
Color: black
Kudos to whomever created this! I have a super attached (med) dog that follows me from room to room alllll day. The first time I put this down he went right for it and didn’t even notice i had left the deck. He is very food driven. I used bone broth and pumpkin puree, which was a hit but once I used the apple sauce… HUGE hit. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come in an XL size. My dog can empty it in under 3 minutes..so he doesn’t get relaxed or sleepy! it does splash out a bit from the top so I use it on his food mat or outside..my sister can’t stand the noise the ball makes. I wasn’t diluting enough so the ball doesn’t move smoothly in the video, but it really does work! The cover is very well made and sturdy. I didn’t notice it sliding around at all. My dog also did not try to get the ball out (loves to tear apart toys) or tip it over, but I could see that happening. I wouldn’t use unsupervised unless you have a small dog. Please make a larger size!!!!

Works but the bowl is wacky
Color: blue, Color: blue
This slow feeder is actually a very good idea and my dog likes it. I blend plain, unsweetened yogurt with a little powdered pumpkin & apple pectin and thin it down with water so the roller ball can easily rotate. It's sturdy and it doesn't slip on the floor, which is good. However, I give it only three stars because the bowl inside is a ridiculous design. Instead of the inside surface being a gently sloping, smooth surface, the "legs" underneath protrude up through the inside (see photo). It makes stirring and cleanup much more difficult than it needs to be. Presumably, it's made using injection molding so it should be easy to design it with a smooth finish.

Happy licking brain stimulation!
Color: black
We have a very active 1 year old field golden and we needed something else to stimulate her brain. This has worked out beautifully for that. At first she would want to try to pick it up or move it with her paw but a few corrections and training and she’s learned to just lick at it. It stays well planted in the floor and doesn’t tip over. I had to knock it one star for its ease of use and cleaning. The inside bowl has “fins” inside that make it difficult to stir things up and mix together or to clean. Other than that minor gripe we really love it and would buy again. The enjoyment our girl gets out of is definitely worth the money. It’s been through the dishwasher several times and show no signs of wear and tear so it’s well built. Happy licking!!!
