2019 Redesign

The Jura E8 Automatic Espresso Machine with P.E.P. has been adored by coffee lovers ever since its release in 2016. Now, Jura has released a new redesign for the Jura E8, with a 2x Special Coffee Feature. The Special coffee function can be programmed up to 16 oz volume (max) and when pressed twice, it grinds, tamps, brews and self-cleans twice as one-touch function – like the Espresso doppio and/or Jug of coffee function on the GIGA 6, Z8 and X8. The Special coffee can be programmed up to two strokes for 2x grinding and 2x brewing into a single cup, or two. In addition to this, now the user has two programmable coffee functions on their screen.

Full-Color Display for Interactive Brewing

Always on the forefront of the luxury home espresso experience, Jura sets the gold standard with the E8 and its full-color TFT-Active Matrix Display. In the 2019 redesign, this features has improved by including the new features on the screen as well. Beyond the obviously easy-to-view beverage menu choices, the E8 digital display ensures all communications and programming options are clearly understood. Interactive navigation with the rotary selection dial offers easy access to the fully automatic one-touch brewing system.

Thermoblock Water Heating System

As with its predecessors, the power plant of the E8 is a stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock boiler. Unlike a traditional boiler, thermoblocks offer rapid warm-up times paired with efficient water usage limited only to what you brew. This process ensures water does not become stale sitting in a boiler for an extended period of time. Stainless steel preserves the clean flavor of filtered water and also resists limescale buildup for longer life.

Intelligent Water Filtration

The E8 redesign features automatic filter detection thanks to modern RFID Technology. Using a filter has never been easier, more effective or more reliable. Clearyl Smart water filters supply the best water quality and protect against most limescale buildup. The E8 will tell you when it is time to change the filter. The result: pure water for excellent tasting coffee and optimum equipment protection.

Energy Saving Technology

With the Energy Save Mode (E.S.M.), the E8's energy-saving technology can be activated to engage shortly after the last drink is made. It will then reduce itself to a standby temperature while cutting electrical consumption by up to 40 percent. Warm-up time to operating temperature is significantly faster than starting up from cold. In addition, the Zero Energy Switch disconnects power entirely, so no residual electricity is consumed while the E8 is off.
