C.P.E. Bach: Harpsichord Concertos, Composer Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Composer Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Artist Musica Amphion Pieter-Jan Belder harpsichord & concert master, Format 1 CD, Here is another engaging release from Brilliant Classics' current series of C.P.E. Bach recordings - recordings that celebrate the genius of a composer who was, on account of his harmonic language, preoccupation with improvisation and cultivation of the Empfindsamer Stil, undoubtedly the most strikingly individual talent among Johann Sebastian Bach's sons. Central to Carl Philipp Emanuel's output was the clavier, with the composer writing more than 50 concertos for this instrument - an astounding number considering how new a genre the keyboard concerto still was at the time, and a small number of which are detailed on this disc. While J.S. Bach is usually credited with elevating the harpsichord from it's traditional role to a solo concerto instrument, his harpsichord concertos are almost certainly arrangements of earlier compositions for oboe, violin etc., and Carl Philipp Emanuel's collection therefore stands as the first important one of it's kind. The works indeed number among the finest of their time, their quality reinforced by the fact that a good few were subject to regular revisions by the composer. Emanuel's own outstanding ability as a keyboard player is also reflected in the concertos, most of which were conceived with players of advanced technique in mind - the sparkling cascades of the soloist's arpeggios in the final movement of the E major Concerto Wq14 come especially to mind. Performing Wq3, Wq6 and Wq14 and bringing to the fore the infectious vitality of these works is Brilliant Classics regular Pieter-Jan Belder. He is ably supported by his period-performance ensemble Musica Amphion, who under the direction of their soloist draw full attention to the remarkable sophistication and certain amount of unpredictability that characterize C.P.E. Bach's keyboard concertos as a whole. Recorded on 5-7 September 2012, Deutschlandfunk Kammermusiksaal, Köln. An exciting new release to mark the Anniversary-year of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (born 300 years ago), the most famous son of Johann Sebastian. Pieter-Jan Belder, one of the most distinguished keyboard players of this moment, plays three harpsichord concertos by CPE, in his infectious, stylish and virtuoso way (in short: brilliant...), seconded by his band of early music instrumentalists of Musica Amphion. Music of great originality, vitality and charm, a wealth to discover.

A PLACE FOR YOUR HEADSET
Size: Small Storage Area, Size: Small Storage Area
This holder is fantastic, if you have the steel series headset and extra batteries it's perfect you'll love it, but would like to see a white version as well.

Not quite right
Size: Small Storage Area
this is "as advertised" but a simple extra ridge of plastic would have made it perfect. the issue people are having with the arctis pro, the thing that makes you want a stand for it, is the base station is a little too light, you can push it when you go to use the knob's integrated button. Issue here is the fit of the base is loose enough, you can still push the base out of the back. So it looks nice, and gives you a place to put the headphones and some other desk clutter, but it doesn't REALLY solve the problem.

3D Printed (Not Mentioned) and Base is Way Too Loose
Size: Small Storage Area, Size: Small Storage Area
I bought this to clean up my desk setup for my SteelSeries Nova Pro Wireless, and while it looks decent from a distance, there are two major issues that weren't clear from the product page. First, this is a 3D-printed product. Nowhere in the Amazon description or photos does it state that this is 3D printed. You can clearly see the layer lines and "stair-stepping" on the curves. While I don't mind 3D printing in general, for this price point, I expected a standard injection-molded plastic finish. The product page feels a bit misleading by omitting this detail. Second, the fit is very poor. The "integrated dock" for the GameDAC station doesn't actually lock into place. There is no snap or friction fit; it sits so loosely that you can slide the DAC out of the front or back with the single push of a finger. This makes it feel unstable, especially when you are trying to use the volume dial or swap out batteries. Bottom Line: It’s a nice idea and fits the aesthetic of the headset, but the execution feels like a prototype rather than a finished consumer product. If you're looking for a secure "lock-in" feel for your expensive base station, this isn't it.

it’s really small in depth
Very difficult to open and watch your finger so you don’t pinch them. Great idea. But too short and length or width so I have to send it back.

Compact and looks nice
I got this drying rack to install on the wall over my tub. It's great because I can just pull it out to air-dry my delicates. I can also open it up and use it as a light table to hold my phone and book if I'm taking a bath - dual-purpose! And the hooks are great to hang bath accessories. The best part is that it tucks in to blend with the bathroom wall. It's a very high-end drying rack.
