Jesus Calms the Storm - PrintPeace in the aftermath. Power in His presence. Our Jesus Calms the Storm print reflects one of the most profound moments in the Gospels. Peace in the aftermath. Power in His presence.

Our Jesus Calms the Storm print reflects one of the most profound moments in the Gospels. In Mark 4:35–41 and Matthew 8:23–27, Jesus stands in a small boat amid a raging sea and commands the wind and waves to be still. What moments before felt overwhelming and chaotic is brought into perfect calm by His word alone.

This artwork captures the stillness that follows, the sea now serene, the sky quiet, the storm subdued. It is a visual reminder that Christ holds authority over creation and over every trial that threatens to unsettle our hearts. The storm becomes a symbol of the struggles we face, both visible and hidden. And the calm becomes a testimony to His sovereignty.

In this peaceful scene, we are invited to trust more deeply. The same Lord who quieted the waves remains present in our own storms, bringing steadiness where there was fear and light where there was uncertainty.

Available in 8 x 10 or 11 x 14, this unframed print blends beautifully into prayer corners, living rooms, bedrooms, or offices. Its gentle tones complement both modern and traditional décor, making it a meaningful addition to any home.

Printed in the USA, this piece, created by artist Meg Souder, makes a thoughtful gift for confirmations, graduations, housewarmings, or anyone walking through a season that calls for deeper trust.

A reminder that even when the winds rise, Christ is in the boat.

Not a Users Guide
Format: Paperback
Although many readers may find this book useful, it describes a particular approach to Powerpoint. It is not anything like a comprehensive users guide.

Just linear
Format: Paperback
I appreciate that it helps to organize the chaos of information, but I just used the template verbatim with my manager and it did not go very well. He said this linear approach does not work anymore with high-level corporate audiences. They want to cut right to the chase and start to dig into the deep details. This layout with simple images, even if you just pull away the map and anchor slides, makes the storytelling too much like a story, not giving enough credit to the speed at which certain audiences can and do process data on a slide. It was an interesting exercise and I still think this linear layout works in some cases. Just not if you are trying to communicate business case or other C-suite type of information.
