Reef Builder effectively increases carbonate alkalinity (KH) without causing an immediate change in pH levels. With consistent use over time, it tends to stabilize around pH 8.3. When used according to the guidelines, Reef Builder will not reduce levels of calcium, magnesium, or strontium, which typically precipitate as alkalinity rises.

DIRECTIONS:

Administer 3g (1/2 level teaspoon) for every 150L (40 US gallons) two times a week. Mix in at least 250mL (1 cup) of freshwater. Monitor alkalinity every two weeks and modify the dosage or frequency as needed. For accurate measurements, utilize the Seachem Digital Spoon Scale.

Advanced
Measure alkalinity, then adhere to the dosage regimen outlined above until alkalinity reaches 3-6 meq/L (8-17 dKH). Each 3 g/150 L will increase alkalinity by approximately 0.25 meq/L. You can adjust the quantity or frequency, but do not exceed 12 g/150 L per day. After that, use as necessary to sustain alkalinity.
