Thank you for your interest in our Snaggy Water carp line. This particularly fine braided line was developed to securely cast baits over long distances – even where obstacles such as mussels, weeds or sharp-edged stones make the use of a reliable main line absolutely necessary.

Whether visibly yellow ( Visible Touch ) or discreetly grey ( Invisible Touch ): Both versions impress with first-class running properties and maximum abrasion resistance. Available in 0.17 mm and 0.30 mm – up to 1800 m in one continuous length without knots upon request.

Surface sealed for optimal handling

The sealed finish ensures very long casts and a smooth, clean line release. Since the line neither rises to the surface nor sinks to the bottom, it remains stable between the two levels – ideal for long distances and fishing in snag-free areas.

The Snaggy Water is very often used in combination with the Shock'it leader (0.50–0.80 mm) .

Snaggy Water 0.30 mm – for the most demanding applications

With a diameter of 0.30 mm and a breaking strength of approximately 21 kg, this line offers enormous reserves. It is ideally suited for heavily vegetated waters, long casting distances, and secure placement over very long distances.

Tips for optimal results

Tip 1 – Winding up:
When spooling, use a slightly damp cloth with a little dish soap. This will remove any manufacturing residue and ensure the line sinks evenly from the start.

Tip 2 – After putting it down:
After casting your rig, slowly reverse with the boat and submerge the rod tip about 30–50 cm in the water. This allows the line to lie flat and remain well protected, even over long distances.

The neutral sinking behavior ensures that the line neither sinks further nor rises – it always remains stable between the surface and the bottom of the water.
