Since the fascinating content was originally recorded, author Marcus Alton has taken the lid off the cardboard box of tapes containing classic comments from Cloughie: “We treated European matches as a holiday. The recordings range from his first full-length radio phone-in to rare audio features and interviews, including one recorded at his home alongside his European Cup winning captain.

Marcus has also dusted-off long-forgotten written articles and features which have been kept in his extensive archives for forty years. Together they form a fantastic collection, accompanied by memories of some of the key people involved.

Author:

Marcus Alton is a former BBC and commercial radio journalist who interviewed Cloughie several times and has previously written four books about him, all of which have become Amazon best sellers and raised money for good causes.

He is the founder and editor of the non profit tribute website brianclough.com and hosts the Green Jumper tribute podcast which has listeners in more than 70 countries. With the support of the Clough family, he was the driving force behind the fund-raising campaign for the Brian Clough statue in Nottingham.

Part of the proceeds of this book will help the types of good causes that Brian supported.

While the stand excels in many respect, one limitation is its lack of height adjustability. However, if height adjustability is important to you, you’ll find lots of other options for stands here on Amazon. Bottom line: I like it. Chances are, you will too. The Bestand Laptop Stand is a nice blend of durability, functionality, ergonomic comfort, and attractiveness—all at a reasonable price.
