💡 The Alignment Guide Key: The 12-pin circular connector on the Fujinon side utilizes a tiny structural guide notch inside its metal barrel. When rigging the camera in low-light studio setups, do not force or twist the outer barrel blindly into the lens servo box. Align the inner key notch first, push the connector straight in, and then spin the threaded locking collar to secure the data link completely. This protects the delicate matching pin needles inside the lens housing from bending.

Isolating Rotation Direction: If an operator prefers the focus wheel to run clockwise for infinity rather than counter-clockwise, do not unplug or twist the DC-F12 cable. Simply toggle the physical Direction Reverse Switch located on the outer side chassis of the attached FD-1 focus demand housing to flip the electronic signaling layout instantly.
