Set My Heart On Fire Immediately is the fifth studio album from Perfume Genius that will be released May 15th on Matador Records. It sees artist and musician Mike Hadreas re-teaming with GRAMMY-nominated producer Blake Mills and features contributions from musicians Jim Keltner, Pino Palladino and Matt Chamberlin. It was recorded in Los Angeles, where Perfume Genius settled in 2017 with longtime partner and musical collaborator Alan Wyffels. "I wanted to feel more open, more free and spiritually wild," says Hadreas, "and I'm in a place now where those feelings are very close- but it can border on being unhinged. Excellent bodyguard story!

Anytime Rachel Lacey releases a new book, I drop whatever I'm doing to read it, because I know it'll be a banger. And Cover Story definitely didn't disappoint! Natalie, an A-list actress, is struggling to live without fear after a horrible stalker experience 8 years ago that she can never seen to get past. With news that the man is getting out on parole soon, Natalie hires Taylor, a bodyguard who is also going to pose as her girlfriend.
I really loved this story. Both Natalie and Taylor have struggles and fears, and the author did such a tremendous job of making them into full-fledged characters that felt very authentic. Their dynamic as actress and bodyguard, both trying not to fall in love (and failing) was really fun to read. Their chemistry was off the charts hot, as were their spicy scenes!
The secondary characters and the Hollywood setting made the story and their lives feel very real, too. I'm going to have to go back and reread Stars Collide now!

Interesting premise

At first, I was hesitant. I figured this was one of those abelist nonsense series. But... So far? It has been pretty good. The characters are unique & the art style has an amateur feeling to it.

Starts out bonkers and ramps up from there
Format: Paperback
‘Tank Chair, Vol. 1’ by Manabu Yashiro is a manga about a catatonic assassin who wakes up when his sister finds violent jobs for him.
The story takes place in a dystopian setting, where mostly unresponsive Nagi and his partner Shizuka navigate a world filled with danger and intrigue. Every chapter brings a new, deadlier assassin along with new modifications to Nagi’s wheelchair. The first volume introduces the characters and the crazy world.
It’s a fast action packed read and the art style is dynamic and expressive. The story starts out bonkers and ramps up from there. I really enjoyed this over the top story.
