It is impossible to discuss The Tallest Man on Earth's music without acknowledging Bob Dylan. The seeming effortlessness, the melodic sensibility and the deft lyricism all recall Dylan's early years. But when you witness The Tallest Man on Earth perform live you are watching a man possessed. The energy pours out with every word. Full of intensity and raw emotion, he paces the stage, bringing the audience into the palm of his hand, completely lost in his songs. Releasing his debut album 'Shallow Grave' in 2008, Matsson became the subject of instant acclaim and adulation. Yet it wasn't until Matsson supported Bon Iver throughout a U.S tour in 2008, that his profile started to rise abroad. On every night of that tour, they were introduced to something truly special with obsessive crowds growing each step of the way. 'The Wild Hunt' is ten perfect songs and picks up where 'Shallow Grave' left off, with Matsson doing what he does best. From the urgent strums of "You're Going Back" and the sweet melodies of "Love is All", to the playful lyricism of live favourite "King of Spain" and the subtle hook on "Burden of Tomorrow". Gorgeous book
Format: Board book
This is one of our favorite books. The illustrations are stunning. It's a total work of art! And the story about changing seasons is lovely. I like that it's a quick read but that there's more than a word or two per page. My 13-month old really loves this book, and because I love it so much too, I always encourage her to bring it over for a read!

beautiful illustrations
Format: Board book
The story is nice, but the real magic is in the illustrations. As a parent, I adore reading this book just for the illustrations; each page is a work of art. Most of the story is about winter, so we are reading it a great deal now (December) to discuss wildlife and how they prepare for winter.
