Now, you can celebrate this Western icon with the John Wayne: Hollywood Luminary Lantern Collection, exclusively from The Bradford Exchange. This limited-edition collection begins with Issue One, Beacon of Courage. Next comes Issue Two, Legendary Lawman, and then Issue Three, Justice Personified, each issue sold separately.
Each of the handcrafted bronze-toned metal lanterns in this collection contains a fully-sculpted scene of John Wayne and his horse meticulously hand-cast and hand-painted in intricate detail, right down to the cacti and sagebrush. Crowning each edition is a sepia-toned portrait of John Wayne as well as his replica signature. On the back of Issues One and Three you'll find two of Duke's famous quotes. Attached to nearly invisible strands of wire, abundant white lights sparkle above the scenes inside the glass panels of the fully sculpted lanterns. Turn them on and you'll be amazed by the suggestion of starlight in the Western sky with the bright lights seemingly floating in air.
