Professional Grade 70 Transport Chains – Heavy-Duty Tie-Down Series

DOT/FMCSA Approved Carbon Steel Chains for Flatbed Hauling, Logging, and Heavy Machinery

OVERVIEW

Ensure maximum load security and regulatory compliance with our Professional Grade 70 Transport Chains. Engineered specifically for the rigorous demands of the heavy hauling industry, these high-tensile tie-downs are forged from heat-treated carbon steel, providing exceptional strength-to-weight ratios. Finished in a high-visibility gold chromate to resist rust and environmental corrosion, every chain is stamped at regular intervals to meet strict DOT and FMCSA inspection requirements. Available in versatile pre-cut lengths with clevis grab hooks, or as continuous-length bulk pails for custom fleet outfitting, this series is the definitive standard for towing, logging, and heavy machinery transport.

SYSTEM HIGHLIGHTS

  • DOT & FMCSA Compliant: Every chain is permanently stamped every foot with the Grade 70 identifier, ensuring immediate traceable load rating compliance during highway weigh station inspections.

  • Heat-Treated Carbon Steel: Forged and heat-treated to withstand extreme tension, abrasive wear, and high-impact shock loads without snapping or deforming.

  • Gold Chromate Defense Finish: The premium dichromate plating provides a highly visible yellow/gold finish that actively resists oxidation, road salt, and job site moisture.

  • Multi-Gauge Versatility: The matrix spans from standard 7.9 mm (5/16") to massive 15.9 mm (5/8") thicknesses, allowing operators to match chain strength to their specific Working Load Limit (WLL) requirements.

  • Bulk & Pre-Cut Configurations: Choose between ready-to-deploy 6.1 m to 9.1 m (20 ft to 30 ft) assemblies or high-volume continuous 18.3 m to 27.4 m (60 ft to 90 ft) bulk pails for shop fabrication.

Great Book.
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Its great to be able to go back and read Stokely Carmichael today in his own words. This book provides an excellent overview of what black power means and how the concept originated. Although the book seems a bit dated today, many of the ideas presented are still entirely relevant. Ive only given the book four stars due to its age. Many of the statistics presented are dated, and undoubtedly there are other texts available today that present these ideas in a much better/newer way. But if you are interested in Stokely Carmichael and what he stood for, this is the book to read.

Format: Paperback
Excellent articulation of the Black Power initiative within the Civil Rights Movement. A detailed view of Black Power, it's objectives, how these would be achieved, as well as it's misinterpretations. An afterword from each author appended in 1992 provides insight, reflection, and perspective on all that's changed, and what hasn't, since the book's publishing.

Format: Mass Market Paperback
Any book with the name Stokely Carmichael is a rare find. You can easily find the same book with Kwame Ture as the author since he changed his name and so later editions reflects the name change. Kwame Ture (fka Stokely Carmichael) changed his name for a reason. However, those of us from the sixties can never forget him nor the name Stokely Carmichael.
