Crafted from thick, clear glass, each demijohn offers an unobstructed view of fermentation, so you can monitor colour, clarity and activity at every stage.
Each demijohn comes with a rubber bung cork and matching airlock: simply push the bung into the mouth of the bottle, then fit the airlock into the bung’s central hole to vent CO₂ while preventing outside contaminants. The bottles also feature pre-formed divets on the neck for optional swing-top cap compatibility.
A sturdy glass carry handle, moulded into the shoulder, ensures safe, comfortable transport when moving fermenters or racking to secondary.
Beyond primary fermentation, these demijohns make attractive vessels for long-term storage or display of your crafted beverages. The combination of airtight bungs and airlocks helps preserve flavour, prevent oxidation and maintain a clean fermenting environment.
