8.66ct CUSTOM CONCAVE CUT GREEN/YELLOW MONTANA SAPPHIRE ALL NATURALI figured this sapphire was going to be a cabochon but my cutters pulled off a miracle and faceted it, to a custom concave swirl cut. it started out at a whopping 36ct and It ended up a huge 8. 6ct. Finish. The Eldorado bar green color of this sapphire only comes from the Eldorado bar in Montana. It measures 14. 5mm. X 10. 9mm. SI clarity. No treatment of any type. It has a few visible silk lines in it but all in all it rocks! It is my biggest cut one

It measures 14.5mm. X 10.9mm. SI clarity.
No treatment of any type. It has a few visible silk lines in it but all in all it rocks! It is my biggest cut one to date. Montana sapphires rarely come this big. This sapphire is from our pay diggers area, on the mine. I sure am glad I found it instead of a customer. I know kind of stingy. Ha ha. It does not always work out that way.
