Beyond Good and Evil confirmed Nietzsche's position as the towering European philosopher of his age. The work dramatically rejects the tradition of Western thought with its notions of truth and God, good and evil. Nietzsche demonstrates that the Christian world is steeped in a false piety and infected with a 'slave morality'. With wit and energy, he turns from this critique to a philosophy that celebrates the present and demands that the individual imposes their own 'will to power' upon the world. This edition includes a commentary on the text by the translator and Michael Tanner's introduction, which explains some of the more abstract passages in Beyond Good and Evil. Frederich Nietzsche (1844-1900) became the chair of classical philology at Basel University at the age of 24 until his bad health forced him to retire in 1879. He divorced himself from society until his final collapse in 1899 when he became insane. A powerfully original thinker, Nietzsche's influence on subsequent writers, such as George Bernard Shaw, D.H. Not very strong

We have a different bone from this company that my dogs love and it’s been indestructible for my hard chewers, but NOT this one. Within 20min of chewing he was pulling pieces off. It’s not nearly as tough as the other one we have. Pretty disappointed.

Recommended for Seniors, Not for Chewers

My 12lb dog loves Playology toys because of the long-lasting scent that's stimulating for her (even though I can't detect the smell). I got this toy because I wanted to add a different texture to her toy bin since most of her toys are rope & plush. Unfortunately, after only 10 minutes of playing with this toy, she managed to tear the pieces of the rubber off and I had to take it away so she doesn't choke on the pieces that were breaking off. Now I see why this toy's recommended for senior dogs. Definitely not recommended for active dogs or heavy chewers.

My pup absolutely loves it and it's helping him with teething. It doesn't break off in a bunch of big pieces, just tiny pieces. He spits out the little pieces thankfully! Very well made and smells appetizing to dogs! It definitely helps clean his teeth & the rest of his mouth!
