With respectable weights and overall lengths and the ability to combine with any remote lever thanks to the cable clamp at the post, the X-Fusion Manic is versatile and suitable for most riders on most bikes in most situations. The saddle angle can be infinitely adjusted, thanks to the 2-bolt saddle clamp, and with the dropper height being infinitely variable throughout its travel the Manic is infinitely adaptable to any rider.

Lift is provided by a reliable sealed air cartridge that, when it does come time to replace, is both simple and inexpensive to do so. The smooth action is thanks to the nylon bushes and triple brass keys and the sealhead includes a wiper seal as well as an o-ring to keep the nasties out.

Actuation style: The Manic is cable actuated and includes an underbar remote for the left hand. The cable clamp at the post means it can be used with remotes that place the barrel at the remote AND those that clamp the cable at the remote lever.

Spring style: The Manic uses a sealed, non-serviceable but easily replaceable, compressed air cartridge.

Infinite or finite adjustments: The post can be stopped anywhere throughout its travel.

Internal or externally routed: The Manic provides actuation at the base of the post making it suitable for internally routed cables.

Lever included: Yes. There is a nifty alloy lever and cable kit included. It's an underbar lever suitable for use on both the left-hand side or right-hand side. The Manic is compatible with most remote levers should you require an overbar lever.

Lever mounting options: The lever can actually be mounted on the left or the right, but it is an underbar lever so is not compatible with trigger shifters.

Includes cable / housing : Yes. A complete install kit is provided including remote lever, inner cable, outer housing, inner and outer ends and the barrel bolt to clamp the cable at the post.
