Overview

Introducing the SS5 LED Pod! Featuring the highest output intensity of any 5-inch LED pod on the market, these auxiliary lamps have been designed for maximum functionality, with patented technology and custom-engineered TIR optics, all in a durable package.

Focused. Traditional optics like reflectors or simple lenses lose light internally and to glare, so not all of the light shines on target. Instead, the custom-engineered TIR optic in the SS5 collects all of the light from the LED, and directs it only where you need it, drastically reducing glare and improving total efficiency. Click here to learn more: Total Internal Reflection (TIR) Optics | Stage Series Video.

From there, while other options on the market lose as much as 10% of the light output shining through an outer lens, the custom-molded TIR optic in the SS5 serves as both the optic and main lens for greater efficiency and light output. Thanks to this patented and innovative technology, when coupled with high-intensity LED chips, the total intensity of the SS5 is much greater than other LED pods using basic optics or reflectors with a standard outer lens.

Amber Backlight. The Stage Series 5" LED Pod features an amber backlight illumination, perfect for an extra styling accent, or for more visibility when you’re not using the main beam. The SS5's backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing unique accent lighting that you won't find on other LED pods. Due to the yellow lens, the Yellow SS5 is only available with an Amber backlight color. Want a different colored backlight? Check out the White SS5 pod, which offers a selectable backlight with eight different color options.

CrossLink. Our patent-pending CrossLink technology allows you to link up to eight SS5 pods together to create your own lightbar. Unlike other options on the market that use multiple pieces to link pods together, we have designed a single-piece CNC aluminum link. This provides extreme rigidity, but is fully adjustable, for both straight and curved configurations. And thanks to inset threaded mounts built-in to every SS5, there is no need to buy a special linking version of the SS5 for your setup. Click here to view our CrossLink Lightbars.

Functional Patterns. Stage Series beam pattern options were designed with advanced optical simulation modeling, to shape the output in highly-functional beam patterns with high efficiency. No matter what your auxiliary lighting needs are, there is a Stage Series optic for you!

Driving is great for general illumination at speed. Rather than a traditional "spot" pattern, the Stage Series Driving pattern shines in a 30x20 degree spread, providing just enough width to fully illuminate the road ahead at high speeds, but still staying focused to avoid too much foreground light. Although the SS5 Driving is too bright to be considered an SAE Auxiliary High Beam, it is perfect for an extra boost of light at speed.

Combo pattern combines both the Driving and Flood optics, perfect for all-around use. It shines light downrange in a focused 30x20 Driving beam to punch with distance, and fills in the surrounding area to create a full 70x30 degree pattern. With a row of driving optics in the middle, and a flood optic on the top and bottom, this has been designed to provide extra light for every situation.

Flood pattern was designed to provide uniform, even illumination with a full 70x55 degree spread of light. Unlike generic "flood" lights that are simply a heavily diffused spotlight, our flood pattern uses pillow optics on the outer lens surface, to provide a true optically designed spread, for even illumination throughout. It is perfect for lighting up anything at low speeds, or for trailers and worksites.

Spot is an unmodified pattern, shining light directly from the TIR optic. The result is a highly focused 15-degree beam of light, perfect for directing light far into the distance. With an incredible output of 406,000 candela, the SS5 Sport shines a mile away (¼ lux). NOTE: The Pro Spot uses a larger LED emitter, which spreads the light output into a 20-degree pattern. Although the Pro has much more raw output, the larger beam pattern results in slightly lower total intensity.

White or Yellow. All Stage Series LED pods are available in a cool white or selective yellow color. The white is a 6000K color temperature, which is a true cool white output, and matches most factory LED lighting. The selective yellow is a 3000K color temperature, great for high contrast in poor weather or a distinctive look on the road. The SS5 Stage Series 5" White LED Pod can be found here. We also offer replacement lenses that allow you to change the color or optic of your SS5 Pods.

Interchangeable Lens. Need a different beam pattern or color? You can swap it yourself! We offer replacement lenses that allow you to change the color or optic of your Stage Series SS5 Pods.

Sport or Pro. Stage Series SS5 LED pods are available at two different power levels. All options use high-intensity LED emitters, and TIR optics for unmatched focus and overall output. The Sport model uses nine high-intensity LEDs for 40 watts of total power. The Pro model steps things up in a big way, with over double the total power at 90 watts. Click the Specifications tab to see more information.

Simple connections. All SS5 LED pods feature an integrated and waterproof DT type Deutsch-style connector on the back, and come with a 6-inch pigtail with bare leads. For installation, you can wire yourself, or select an optional Diode Dynamics wire harness.

Snap-on covers. For states that require them, or for extra styling or protection, we also offer snap-on covers for your SS5 Pod. These covers are available in a variety of colors and keep your SS5 Pod clean and protected from dirt, dust, or whatever else the road throws your way!

Proven Reliability. Stage Series LED lighting has been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40 to 185 degrees F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing. All of these tests are completed to SAE standards, just like your factory lighting components. They've also been put to the test on-road by racers and enthusiasts alike.

We directly assemble and engineer our own products in the United States, allowing for higher quality and performance, with the newest and brightest LED technology. No matter what you're driving, we pride ourselves in offering only the best possible LED solutions. Please contact us if you'd like to discuss your lighting project!

Good Start
Format: Kindle
This was the first book in the "Off-Campus" series. Hannah Wells, a focused and reserved music student, and Garrett Graham, the confident captain of the college hockey team whose academic struggles threaten his future. When their paths cross through an unexpected agreement, a friendship begins that gradually deepens into something more meaningful. I normally read YA but I found that I liked both of these characters I also liked the secondary characters as well. This was a pretty good read and I see why it's a good series on prime. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Dreamy Hockey Men & Steamy Romance
Format: Audiobook
Loved this book! This book came up as one of my Amazon similars. As for contemporary, they must have an intriguing plot to hold my interest. I normally prefer Paranormal, Dystopian or Sci-fi romance or romantic suspense. The blurb sounded appealing, so I decided to give it a chance. This was my first hockey romance. After reading this book, I'm now a fan of the genre. This story had everything in it that I loved. An intense, slow-built romance. A cocky guy, who didn't really do relationships until he meets the girl who brings him to his knees. Friends to lovers with a few games in between. Spicy love scenes and jealous. Most importantly, a driving plot with intense drama that had the perfect balance. But it wasn't childish or over the top. I was over the moon when I recently learned that this book is becoming an adaptation for on Amazon. May 13th can't come fast enough. This book was so good, I decided to check out book #3 in the series, The Score. All 4 books in the Spin off series blurbs sounded interesting. After book #3, I immediately read all the books in the spin-off. Book #1, The Deal is tied with The Play in the spin-off series as my favorite with The Risk in the spin-off being a close 2nd.. Another thing I like about her series is that they all the books are stand-alones. You can also read the books out of order. Each book is a separate couple, so you get a new story each time, alongside following the other characters that were introduced in previous books

5 STARS – The Mistake is sweet, sexy, funny and has the prefect amount of feels! Elle Kennedy ROCKS!
Format: Kindle
The Mistake is the second book on the Off Campus series by Elle Kennedy. The Mistake is Logan’s book and I can honestly say that when I read The Deal, I fell head over heels for this character from the moment I met him. How can you not love John Logan and his cocky grin? John Logan is a player a fact that he makes no excuses for. He is a very well-known member of the Briar University hockey team and because of this; he has no problems getting the female students attention. In fact he has no issues getting any females attention, at all. But lately Logan has realized that he has been hooking up even more frequently than usual, even by his own standards. In fact his friends are noticing it as well, but what they do not know, is that he has a reason for his behavior. He is just not willing to admit it or even consider dealing with it because he is far more comfortable with running away from the problem, then facing it head on. “This obsession with Hannah Wells is really starting to mess with my head. I need to get laid. ASAP.” Grace Ivers is a freshman at Briar University and she is well aware of who John Logan is. Her best friend has been chasing Dean, one of Logan’s teammates for quite some time now with no success. When she bumps into Logan at a party on campus one night, immediately following one of his many hook ups she is struck by his hotness and cocky attitude, but quickly pulls herself out of the lustful fog. John Logan is a player and there is no way he would ever be interested in her, the freshman virgin. Grace also has no interest in being yet another notch on Logan’s seemingly never ending belt loop. When Logan randomly knocks on Grace’s dorm room door one evening looking for a party, she is shocked. What could he possibly want with her? It has to be a mistake… and it is, he has the wrong room but, what happens next as they say is history. Grace and Logan are attracted to one and other and the sexual tension is thick enough to cut with a knife. Lust prevails and they do hook up that night, but Logan gets freaked out and leaves Grace “hanging” immediately afterwards. She is confused and hurt. Logan is totally clueless; he does this all the time, hooks up and runs, but then it hits him, Grace deserves better than that. Grace is better than that. “I made the guy come last night and he didn’t even stick around long enough to kiss me goodbye. So yeah, I have to face the facts: I’m just another girl on a long list of John Logan’s conquests.” “Leaving a girl wanting isn’t just embarrassing. It’s unacceptable.” Grace is not a puck bunny, in fact she doesn’t even like hockey, she prefers football. Logan doesn’t do relationships; he has no time, between Hockey and dealing with his troubled family life. When Logan is finally realizes he has feelings for Grace he doesn’t handle it well at all. He wants what Garrett has with Hannah. He is lonely and the never ending line of hook ups no longer interests him, he’s thinking constantly of Grace, other women no longer interest him at all. But he has screwed up royally; can he ever win Grace back? “It's a damn shame that duels don't play a role in the modern world anymore.” The Deal was the first book I had ever read by this author and I loved it, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on The Mistake. It then got buried on my kindle and I just realized I hadn’t yet gotten to read it and I moved up the list. I’m so very glad that I did, I love Elle Kennedy’s style of writing and being a Canadian I have a real soft spot for handsome, cocky, hockey players. I love that this book was a fabulous balance of sexy and steamy, sweet and sassy, funny and emotional. I love the characters, every single one of them. I especially love that the female main characters are spunky and sassy. The story line was great and I thought that the banter between characters was very amusing. I love that each book has a happily ever after and I’m really excited now to begin reading The Score. I hope that each and every one of the crew is given their own story in this series before it ends, because now I’m addicted. I’m reading The Score next; I’m excited to read Ali and Dean’s story. If you have not yet begun to read this series, I highly recommend it; I am loving this series by this fabulous Canadian author. “This guy continues to surprise me. To awe me. He’s a better person than I am, better than he gives himself credit for, and if I wasn’t sure about it before, then I’m damn well sure of it now. I love him.” “I need you. I can’t stand the thought of being without you.” He releases a shaky breath. “You’re the last person I think about before I go to sleep, and the first person I think about when I open my eyes in the morning. You’re it for me, baby.”
