Zitkala-Sa (Red Bird) (1876-1938), also known as Gertrude Simmons Bonnin, was one of the best-known and most influential Native Americans of the twentieth century. Born on the Yankton Sioux Reservation, she remained true to her indigenous heritage as a student at the Boston Conservatory and a teacher at the Carlisle Indian School, as an activist in turn attacking the Carlisle School, as an artist celebrating Native stories and myths, and as an active member of the Society of American Indians in Washington DC. All these currents of Zitkala-Sa's rich life come together in this book, which presents her previously unpublished stories, rare poems, and the libretto of The Sun Dance Opera.Binding Type: Paperback

Refreshing
It is a refreshing spritz, but I can't tell much difference between it and a good splash of water in the morning.

This spray serum is lovely!
This spray serum is very nice! First, let me qualify that my husband works in dermatology and I have access to high-end skin care products. I’ve taken good care of my skin for years and it’s already in great shape, so I never expect to see dramatically-improved results from any new product. That said, I was pleased with the Color Science Barrier Pro Serum Spray sent to me by Amazon Vine in return for my honest review. Does it make me look 10 years younger? No, but there is a “glow” after I spritz myself face that isn’t greasy or glittery, just skin that is hydrated and calm. The mist is very fine and doesn’t disturb my makeup, there’s no discernible scent, and it doesn’t sting my skin or eyes. It dries quick enough, maybe 30 seconds after I spritz it on. I’m not sure what to make of the claims that it helps my skin make its own vitamin D, but my skin feels refreshed and looks nice. I keep the spray bottle in my purse and use it throughout the day. It’s expensive emoji that I’d hesitate to purchase, but having used it, ai know the spray mist is extremely fine so it should last quite a while, even using it 3-4 times a day.
