Removing moisture build up reduces hot spots and the friction that causes blisters. But how does it work? Through the power of hydrophobic (moisture repelling) yarn and hydrophilic (moisture attracting) yarn, Wick Dry® moves moisture off your skin to keep you dry.
  • URfit™ SYSTEM (ULTIMATE RESPONSE FIT SYSTEM): Our URfit™ System steps fit up a notch. It pairs many popular features that give Fox River socks a superior fit that you can count on - and won't wash away. Many URfit™ styles also offer other top-tier features such as vented side panels, Wick Dry® moisture-management and premium fibers. Try them. We think it's a fit UR going to love.
  • Memory-Knit Construction: throughout helps sock keep its form, wash after wash.
  • Spandex Compression Zones: add support and keep sock in place all day long. Contoured Rib Top: holds sock up to eliminate slippage.
  • MEMORY-KNIT CONSTRUCTION: A Fit That Remembers. Memory-knit is a form-fitting structural fabric constructed with knit stitches of spandex and a primary yarn (yarns) for a sock that holds its shape through all types of conditions and activities. This also makes the sock form-fitting. Say goodbye to sagging and bunching where it doesn't belong.
  • SPANDEX COMPRESSION ZONES: Support in All the Right Places. Many styles within the Fox River line - including all of our URfit™ styles - feature special spandex compression zones. These special knit panels help provide support in the sock for various activities. While many styles feature a spandex compression arch support, others feature zones around the ankle, heel and foot to keep your sock in place. Plus, these special panels help keep the shape and form of your sock, wash after wash.
  • COMFORT TOE SEAMS: Toe the Smooth Line. Fox River socks feature smooth, flat toe seams that don't rub or irritate during wear. Plus, our smooth, flat closure technique adds durability to the everyday wear of the sock so it stretches every way you do without unraveling.
  • WOMEN'S FIT: Knit to fit women's narrower feet and a more tapered toe pocket. Additionally, a shorter leg length makes a more flattering fit.

Not worth the paper it’s printed on.
Format: Paperback
I can’t say that I was expecting such a slim volume on 10,000 years of Chinese culture to be a work of rigorous scholarship, but I also wasn’t expecting it to be quite *this* dreadful. It is badly written to the point of being unreadable, and it is clear that no one thought to edit the document before publication. I made it about twenty pages in before I had to put it down. The entire thing reads like an Anthropology 101 term paper written by a first semester college freshman who hasn’t quite figured out how to back up claims with evidence yet.

It all makes sense now
Format: Kindle
This book covers Ancient Chinese History, Starting from the Settlement at the Yellow River through the Xia, Shang, Zhou, and Qin Dynasties to the Han Dynasty. This should ring a bell for some folks as this is the period around the Yellow River shows the early development of man in this region. Ancient Chinese history is a tapestry of remarkable achievements, cultural developments, and political transitions that unfolded over thousands of years. It all began with the settlement at the Yellow River, where early agricultural communities emerged around 5000 BCE. This period witnessed the gradual transition from a hunter-gatherer lifestyle to settled farming communities, marking the foundation of Chinese civilization. From this fertile ground, the Xia Dynasty rose in the 21st century BCE, establishing the first recorded dynasty in Chinese history. Although little written evidence remains, the Xia period laid the groundwork for future dynasties, fostering advancements in agriculture, irrigation systems, and early forms of government. The subsequent Shang Dynasty (16th–11th century BCE) witnessed great cultural achievements, including the development of a complex writing system and the creation of magnificent bronze artworks. It was during this era that the concept of the Mandate of Heaven emerged, which stated that rulers' legitimacy depended on their ability to govern effectively. Following the fall of the Shang Dynasty, the Zhou Dynasty (1046–256 BCE) emerged and introduced the feudal system, characterized by a decentralized government. This era saw the flourishing of philosophy, with notable thinkers like Confucius and Laozi influencing Chinese thought for centuries to come. The Qin Dynasty (221–206 BCE) unified China under the rule of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, bringing about remarkable political and administrative reforms. It standardized currency, measurements, and writing systems, and constructed the Great Wall of China. Although short-lived, the Qin Dynasty paved the way for the subsequent Han Dynasty. The Han Dynasty (206 BCE–220 CE) was a period of significant cultural and technological advancements. It expanded the empire's territorial reach, established the Silk Road, and embraced Confucianism as the official ideology. The Han Dynasty left a lasting legacy, shaping the Chinese state and society for centuries. Through these pivotal dynasties, Ancient Chinese history witnessed the development of a rich and enduring civilization, with contributions that continue to influence the world today.
