Roil is a collaboration between pianist chris abrahams (the necks), bassist mike majkowski (splinter orchestra), and drummer james waples (three omegas). Formed in 2007, the Sydney based trio has been developing it's own approach to jazz improvisation. 'meaning' is it's first release and was recorded in one uninterrupted session on the 2nd of april 2008. There is a controlled elegance to roil's music - not that this precludes the energetic. The music has an eddying quality that moves between group utterance and multi-stranded counterpoint, a weaving of textures that coagulate to form unified phrases before dispersing once more into the churning invention. Great option for a great price

I love these sandals. They are well made, true to size and soft suede. They are lightweight and feel just like my UGG goldenstar sandals. (These are not as adjustable, so if you have narrow or wide feet, these may not be for you) These a great value for the money, especially for medium width feet. The strap across the toe is not adjustable, but fit my feet just fine. The ankle strap was a good length for me. And the Velcro is strong. These sandals are a great value for the money. I will probably start looking into kookaburra before I rush to buy the more expensive ones now.
