Beauty & the Brain: Beauty in 60 Days
This comprehensive 120-page immersive coloring book is designed to bring you beauty, starting from the inner world of your imagination. Brought to you by beauty expert and dermatologist Dr. Teo Wan Lin, the author of published research on the brain-skin connection, neuroaesthetics, beauty perception and aging. Discover beauty pearls hidden strategically throughout your coloring journey - personal lessons on self-image, skin and body positivity from an internationally renowned dermatologist with over a decade of clinical experience.

Beauty & the Brain: Harnessing the power of neuroaesthetics for beauty
The book uniquely harnesses a unique cognitive science approach with decreasing levels of difficulty to mimic actual brain learning processes. Simultaneously bringing frustrations, our struggles with imperfections out of our subconscious into the real world, where nothing is perfect and everything seems difficult.

Lessons from surrealism and naive art to offer alternative beauty perspectives in a perfection-obsessed world

Modern societyÕs obsession with unattainable beauty ideals has led to worsening mental health and psychological distress, further worsening sufferers of acne, eczema and other dermatological conditions. This book delivers imagination therapy in the form of a coloring experience - imparting counsel in a non-judgmental, immersive landscape. Each illustration intuitively evokes an expression of inner thoughts on self-image and beauty perception, a journey of reflection and allowing this meditative activity to stabilise the mind and emotions.

Subpar everything
Format: Hardcover
I read almost all the new Batman comics that come out...I haven't been this disappointed in a book in a LOOOOONG time. So boring. Bad art. Bad dialogue. Superficial/basic characters. No emotion. Half-baked Elseworlds universe (if you going to make some changes - make it worth it!). I could go on. When it got to the "big twist" at the end, my eyes rolled so hard I got a headache. I wish I didn't waste my money on this.

Better than the Chronicles
Format: Paperback
I hope DC keeps on publishing these omnibus series up to the silver age and also the softcover option. I much prefer these new softcover editions over the older chronicles series for several reasons. These STGA softcovers are very big almost twice the stories compared to the chronicles and at a very affordable price. Actually a very good price. Also the paper is one hundred times better, I hated the chronicles' paper. Amazon is wonderful too, they now deliver my comics to my house in Costa Rica in less than a couple of weeks, they always arrive before the scheduled time. Excellent service. The only thing to complain is the reproduction. I consider that Marvel makes better efforts than DC to restore their GA stuff. The Cory Sedlemeier books like the Marvel Comics Golden Age omnibus look like they were drawn this morning. DC is usually quite cheaper and prefers not invest in that. So we get the same results as the old early 2000s Archives. I know today it is impossible to get original art pages of action comics 1-10 But I still think that compared to Marvel DC is very lazy and a skintflint when it comes to restoring their old books.

Got it for my college class, it was a required text.
Format: Paperback
Got this book for one my college class, no joke this was a required text. But overall it was an okay read, only reason why I gave it a 4 out 5 is because I prefer to read books for enjoyment and interest, reading a book for class takes that away.
