The beloved debut novel about an affluent Indian family forever changed by one fateful day in 1969, from the author of The Ministry of Utmost Happiness NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER - MAN BOOKER PRIZE WINNER Compared favorably to the works of Faulkner and Dickens, Arundhati Roy's modern classic is equal parts powerful family saga, forbidden love story, and piercing political drama. The seven-year-old twins Estha and Rahel see their world shaken irrevocably by the arrival of their beautiful young cousin, Sophie. It is an event that will lead to an illicit liaison and tragedies accidental and intentional, exposing "big things that] lurk unsaid" in a country drifting dangerously toward unrest. Lush, lyrical, and unnerving, The God of Small Things is an award-winning landmark that started for its author an esteemed career of fiction and political commentary that continues unabated. Praise for The God of Small Things "Dazzling . . . as subtle as it is powerful."--Michiko Kakutani, The New York Times " The God of Small Things] offers such magic, mystery, and sadness that, literally, this reader turned the last page and decided to reread it. Immediately. It's that haunting."--USA Today "The quality of Ms. Roy's narration is so extraordinary--at once so morally strenuous and so imaginatively supple--that the reader remains enthralled all the way through."--The New York Times Book Review "A novel of real ambition must invent its own language, and this one does."--John Updike, The New Yorker "Outstanding. A glowing first novel."--Newsweek "Splendid and stunning."--The Washington Post Book WorldBinding Type: Paperback

Great for the price
I'm really happy with this bag, especially for the price. The two pockets are nice and large enough to fit my kindle, so I was excited about that. The card holders built in to the bag make it easy to just take the few card you need without bringing a whole wallet.

Perfect Size
Colors are spot on. This is my second one to own, I love the size because it’s not too big, not too small. I can carry one of these bags everyday for about a year before any wear starts to show. The strap is beautiful and I have gotten compliments on it a lot.

Favorite Bag
I LOVE this bag. the bag is super cute. I have a toddler and the bag is constantly getting thrown around and so far it has held up well. The material is thick and the strap is great. The only thing that would make it better would be an interchangeable strap to accessorize.

Surprising amount of room!
I am so pleased with the interior space in the pockets of this purse. It's the perfect size to hold keys, phone, and lots of other junk a mom tends to accumulate! The only downfall is the lack of card-holder spaces...only 4 total slots. I purchased another small card holder apparatus to hold all of my necessities.

Perfect Mini Backpack for almost any occasion! Fits 11 inch ipad
Color: Black, Color: Black
Giving 5 🌟🌟 🌟🌟🌟, even if I havent used it yet! because it:
-arrived in perfect good packaging, protected and nothing missing.
-11 inch ipad fit with its own pocket(although it did reach the very top of the bag and can feel its corners)
- can fit 2 regular plastic bottled water on both sides
- coin pocket(tho I'll be putting coffee candies and mint instead)
- spacious enough for mini snacks or notebook/light books.
- has 2 pockets inside
- 3 pockets outside(1 at back, 2 at front)
Good value for money. Good for travels!(be using for camping). And I think its water resistant. It is a simple, cute, very functional bag for many occasions
Wish: that the strap would be a bit longer, although I did have extra 2.5 inches before it rested comfortably at my lower back.
