Vinyl LP pressing. Christchurch, NZ based slam masters Organectomy return with Existential Disconnect, the follow up to the group's monstrous 2017 debut full length Domain of the Wretched. Upping the intensity in every way, guitars, bass, and vocals for the devastating, unrelenting, and monolithically heavy 11 track effort were recorded by band members Alex Paul and Sam McRobert with drum recordings coming from Troy Kelly at The Armoury Recording Studio in Wellington, New Zealand. The album was once again mixed and mastered by Miguel Tereso of Demigod Recordings. Artwork was provided by Pedro "Lordigan" Sena (Ingested, Brand of Sacrifice). The group explains, "Thematically the album covers the technological self-obliteration of a man to ascend beyond mortality, and the subsequent repercussions of human consciousness elevated to a state of godliness. We believe we have stepped up our game in terms of intensity and ferocity with this new record and have drawn a lot of influence from our brutal death metal roots."

Looks ok if you don't look too close. Not likely to last long.

Got here fast, which was great since our company "upgraded" its video conferencing software and virtual backgrounds no longer work. But I can only describe the item as rickety and sloppily built. See photos: visible gaps in the weave that show the frame through. Chewed up screws in the hinges look like someone took them out and put them back in several times... or salvaged them from another unit.
On the whole, it doesn't seem sturdy. I'll be folding it up and re-deploying it several times a week, so I'll be surprised if it will still stand up in a year. Not a good value for the price, really, except that demand on these right now has prices pushed upward. I'd be happy enough if I'd spent $39.99 rather than over a hundred.
