Care

Temperature: This cactus is native to rainforests where it is warm with very high humidity: temperatures no lower than 16 degrees Celsius, with 21-24 degrees Celsius being the norm and 50% relative humidity are idea indoors

Light: Rhipsalis does not thrive in direct sunlight, it does best with morning sun and full shade in the afternoon

Watering: Unlike most cacti, rhipsalis comes from tropical rainforests rather than the desert. It typically grows on trees rather than in soil. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged during its growign season (April - August). Never allow standing water on the soil's surface, but don't let the soil to dry out completely

Soil: Use a well-draining, slightly acidic soil mis - a cactus soil mix combined with bark chips is idea. Do not pack the soil down. These plants will enjoy aeration in the soil much like other epiphytes

Fertilizer:? Do not feed newly repotted or just-purchased rhipsalis for 12 months. THey have very minimal needs and as such, rarely require fertilizing. If feeding is required, use a diluted (half-strength) cactus fertilizer monthly during the spring and summer

and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition)
This is a required text for Internet Law classes. It is edited very poorly. There are typos on every other page, and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition).

Bad book for SOA exam, but oh well.
Format: Paperback
While required by Society of Actuaries as the textbook for Short Term Actuarial Models exam, I could not recommend this textbook for any other purposes. Written by two Canadian actuaries, a lot of terms and explanations used in this textbook cannot be transferred into US P&C insurance. It fails to explains insurance's purpose and products effectively and as an intro book with unnecessary sentences to deliver personal thoughts. It is also a mess in following sections on ratemaking and reserving. I cannot sense a flow from this book that guides readers in an approachable manner. Overall, author compromises the size AND the quality.
