Utilizing an exclusive diaphragm design, ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates augment clamp load, diminish deflection, and maximize clutch lifespan. Each diaphragm undergoes a comprehensive four-stage heat-treating process to ensure unparalleled performance. Precision cover stampings on ACT pressure plates guarantee rigidity and consistency. Crafted with high-quality ceramic friction materials, ACT's 4-pad rigid race discs are designed for durability and strength. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated to ensure both strength and durability. With a lightweight and rigid design, these discs enable quicker shifts and smooth, trouble-free service. Although engagement with the 4-pad rigid race disc may be harsher, shifting is notably faster, making it ideal for smaller disc sizes in smaller engines.
