The Hollyland External Bi-Color Tally Lamp Kit (Model: HL-TL01) is an official OEM hardware extension designed for the MARS T1000 and SYSCOM 1000T wireless intercom systems.

In a multi-camera live broadcast or studio production, providing clear visual cues to on-camera talent and camera operators is critical. This external tally lamp functions as a remote indicator plug-in, extending the intercom beltpack’s internal tally signals to a highly visible external position.

Core Functional & Signaling Features

• Dual-State Bi-Color LED Matrix: Features high-visibility, low-power red and green LEDs that respond instantly to your live video switcher’s command layout:

  • Solid Red (PGM / Program Mode): Indicates the camera is currently Live/On-Air. Alerts talent to look at the lens and warns operators to keep movements smooth.

  • Solid Green (PVW / Preview Mode): Indicates the camera is selected next in queue. Signals the operator to finalize framing and focus.

• Flexible Extension Routing: Connects directly into the dedicated 3.5mm tally output jack on the MARS T1000 or SYSCOM 1000T beltpacks. It includes a detachable 3.5mm TRS cable to route the signal smoothly along camera rigging arms.

• Multi-Surface Mounting Array: The light block can be mounted to standard camera cold shoes, magic arms, or directly onto a camcorder body. It also includes an adjustable, retractable strap to secure the light onto a camera operator’s wrist or forearm if the camera chassis lacks open rigging space.

Live Switcher Routing Advisory: While the lamp connects directly to individual beltpacks via a 3.5mm cable, the underlying red/green switching signal must originate from your production switcher (such as an ATEM, vMix, or Datavideo deck). To bridge your switcher to the main Hollyland Intercom Base Station, ensure you are using the correct physical hardware interface adapter—such as the official Hollyland DB25-to-BMD Tally Cable or a 2/4 Wire Converter—so the switcher can communicate command cues downstream to the camera positions.
