The Fujifilm XF 60mm f/2.4 R Macro is a medium-telephoto prime lens designed for Fujifilm X-mount APS-C cameras, offering a 90mm full-frame equivalent focal length. It features a maximum aperture of f/2.4, providing shallow depth of field and good low-light performance. The optical construction includes 10 elements in 8 groups, with one aspherical element and one ED element to reduce aberrations and improve sharpness and contrast.
The lens supports a 1:2 maximum magnification ratio, making it suitable for close-up and detail work, though not true 1:1 macro. The minimum focusing distance is 26.7 cm. The aperture ring is mechanically coupled for tactile control, with a 9-blade diaphragm for smooth out-of-focus rendering. Autofocus is powered by an internal motor, and the front element remains stationary during focusing. The lens has a 39mm filter thread and weighs approximately 215g, maintaining a compact and well-balanced profile on X-series bodies. The metal barrel construction adds to the durability and premium build.
