To activate remote:press any button few times, start engine, allow it to run 1-2 minutes, stop it and remote will work.
If you have got locked CHINESE BMW HITAG2 remote keys, you can UNLOCK them and set as BRAND NEW so you can use them again with any car. This function is in TOOLS menu.
