Molochite 50-80#Molochite is a clean white firing aggregate, used in ceramics for mechanical stability and resistance to thermal shock in clay bodies, much like grog. It is produced by firing low iron kaolin to very high temperatures, a process which yields granules that are hard, refractory, and exhibit low thermal expansion.
