In the 1990s, writer Rachel Pollack did the impossible: she raised the bar for surprise and strangeness in her beloved run following Grant Morrison's career-making Doom Patrol! This one-shot reprints the debut of the iconic Coagula, DC's first transgender superhero, from Doom Patrol #70, along with the long-unavailable one-shot Vertigo Visions: The Geek (with superstar artist Michael Allred)! Perfect for early speech skills
Format: Board book
Our first child was speech delayed, so we're hitting the ground running this time with our 1 year old. This Imitation Book is PERFECT for introducing those early gestures and words to your little ones. There are interactive pages (like a door for knocking on and bubbles to pop) that really help your child engage with the book. Also, our 3 year old loves it right alongside his little brother! We also picked up the other 2 books in this collection to help aid in those early language skills.

As an SLP I love this simple engaging book
Format: Board book
Speech path here. I love this book. It was one of my son’s favorites and what I used to help him produce more words from 1-2years. He was my slowest to talk but loved the engaging sounds in this book. It’s simple but you can add a lot of info or new comments each time you read it with encouragement for your kiddo to produce simple early developing sounds. I utilized pausing with it too to tie my son the chance to produce the sounds. I gift it often now! Just wish it was a tadddd cheaper.

Fun and interactive.
Format: Board book
My one-year-old granddaughter loves this little book. There's no story, but it's interactive and fun, and the illustrations are cute and colorful. She enjoys doing all the things on the pages - knocking, waving, blowing, etc.
