Vinyl LP pressing. The seventeen songs collected here come from The Fall's Brix Smith era, aka "the golden era of Fall releases." This is a perfect introduction to the band, and as legendary critic Robert Christgau said, it's "The only Fall record any normal person need own". Originally released in 1990, this album has never been released on vinyl in the US, and isn't easy to find elsewhere. The band's legendary and notorious frontman Mark E. Smith passed away earlier this year at the age of 60. The band's output since they formed at the height of the punk rock movement in Manchester in 1976 was prolific to say the least. It's hard to be exact, but in their four decades, The Fall released 31 studio albums, 5 part-studio/ part live albums, 32 live albums, 40 compilations, and Mark E. Smith also released two spoken word albums. Another high number is that of former members of The Fall. There were over 60 different band members over the years. Their high volume of quality work over the last 40+ years had an enormous influence which was extolled greatly after his death.

Not Bulky, Not Too Warm

This is a great comforter. I have purchased others that were way too bulky. This one is perfect. It is lightweight and seems ideal for warmer temperatures. I am not too hot in the middle of the night. We are heading into Summer but I am sure this will be fine for Summer heat or for Air Conditioners.

Exceptional Comfort and Warmth!

A 5 star WIN - such a soft, so fluffy, perfect cloud duvet comforter that feels expensive but isn't. Like sleeping in a cloud.
My fiance' and I both had king size duvets - mine from Ikea, down alternative, a few years old, and I'm not sure where his was from, but his was true goose down/feathers. After going away for the weekend to stay at a lovely vacation home, we got a bit spoiled with the comfortable bed and great linens there, so when we came home we decided it was time for a bed makeover. Since I love to research, I spent hours scouring Amazon for something that looked like it was actually a great comforter at a great price.
This duvet is everything we wanted and more. Oh my GOSH...it is SO fluffy. SO soft. It's my marshmallow cloud comforter. The inside fill has a silky soft feeling to it when you press on it - it sort of slides in your hands when you touch it, like the fill has a light, silky feel to it Even when I sit on the end of the bed to do something, I can feel how comfortable it is to just even sit on. It makes our old duvets seem pathetic, like something you'd go camp with. This duvet is as nice as the bedding we had where we stayed in our vacation home.
It feels like it has medium weight, but it's warm - quite warm for the weight. We keep it cool in our home at night so for us it's perfect. The material is so soft. We covered it immediately with a beautiful cover because we want to keep it in perfect condition.
I also notice that even though both of our old duvets were king size, this one (also a king) just seems bigger. Our bed is a queen and the king size fits perfectly over it, it drapes over the sides just far enough. Also, my fiance' likes to roll up in his covers when he sleeps. He has plenty of room to do that without taking any of the duvet from my side. :)
Verdict - it's amazing, I feel like a princess sleeping under this duvet. It's amazing for this price, amazing. All 3 of us give it 5 stars - me, fiance' and our cat who now won't get off of our bed.
Someone mentioned that it doesn't have loops on the corners. That's true, it doesn't, but you can always sew those on if you want to. I found a kit for that on amazon too. But trust me, this comforter is worth sewing loops if you really want them. However, like others, we haven't found that the comforter moves or shifts in the duvet cover at all. It stays very well, better than any of my old comforters did, and I've had a few. Perhaps it's the loft that keeps it in place so well.
I'll check back in after some time to let you know if if stays nice.
