TheyÕve had more bassist than you have had musically themed dinners, and went from the essential duo of Wendy and Polly up to a full sized band, although actually thereÕs a trumpeter on a couple of songs early on, which just seems weird. ThereÕs also a lot of different venues and not just the early home base of the Bull & Gate, although itÕs fitting that it begins and ends there. As well as a lovely posed session from 1989 this book also takes in Market Tavern, Canterbury University, the Borderline, ULU and the Marquee. This can surely inspire you to dig out their records, which still sound as good now as they did back then. A great band, and herein youÕll find great memories.
