It also includes appendices listing and describing all of the different fur trade posts and forts, the various ships used during the fur trade, medical instruments and medicines used at the posts, items that men may have ordered to the posts, and the books that fur traders may have read. Volume 3 also contains the index and sources for the entire 3 volume set.
