This book fondly recalls the community and culture of Allentown New Jersey in the 50's and 60's through the eyes of a girl born in Dr. Farmers' small town hospital in 1951. From attending first grade in a local church because there was no room in the school building, to sitting on the front porch watching the hot cars drive through town in the 60's...these are times worth remembering.
