Description

EpilogueA medical helicopter is not an uncommon sight for most of us. We see and hear them overhead often enough that we no longer glance up at them. We see them sitting off to the side at large events, their crews seemingly always vigilant despite the lack of activity. We see them in action on the evening news, taking off from or landing near the scene of an accident. Occasionally, we see one in action up close, hopefully as a spectator rather than someone

A medical helicopter is not an uncommon sight for most of us. We see and hear them overhead often enough that we no longer glance up at them. We see them sitting off to the side at large events, their crews seemingly always vigilant despite the lack of activity. We see them in action on the evening news, taking off from or landing near the scene of an accident. Occasionally, we see one in action up close, hopefully as a spectator rather than someone in need of medical attention.

We see these machines and the people who operate them, but we almost never get to hear their stories – until now. After 20 years and over 5,000 flights, flight physician Jeffrey W. Gaver, DVM, MD, FACEP has experienced the highs and the lows of the job more times than he can count. He has saved many lives and also watched as they've faded away despite the efforts of him and his team. Fly with him as he revisits the best and the worst days of his career as an elite flight physician in Wisconsin.

This is one “under the radar” gem!!
Size: Large, Color: Coral
This is one “under the radar” gem!! Very strong internal squeaker and way tougher than it looks. My big 125lb Shepard-Husky mix gave it heck, then made it his new buddy. He’ll occasionally give it the business but on the whole, it’s surprisingly tough and my big boy loves it. Nice price!!

Cute but small
Size: Large, Color: Skinny Green
Cute stuffy and has not yet ripped. While my dogs plays with it, the toy is a bit small for him. For reference he is 120lbs.

Mini sticks for all the good boys!
My boys LOVE these benebones ! Not to mentioned they are adorable having a mini stick in their mouths. The vet noted my lab needed to start chewing on bones again due to build up & I refused to give them anything other than benebones. They have held up very well & are used daily. The size is plenty big for my 80lb lab and 60lb Australian shepherd. The overall dollar value is great as these are lasting longer than the fish one they normally destroy in a week or two. Overall entertaining for not only my dogs but for my husband and I. Will be buying more in the future.

Long-lasting
Our Labradors (6 month old puppy and almost 3 year old) love to chew on this; they even chew on it at the same time, one on each end of it! These Power Bones last them so long, too. They had the mermaid one for months before I finally tossed it because it was down to a small piece. We've had the hockey stick for over 2 months now and it's only chewed at the ends so far, so I expect it to last quite a while!
