Agave medio-picta ‘Alba’ is a striking ornamental succulent admired for its bold variegation, featuring broad blue-green leaves with a bright creamy-white center stripe that creates dramatic contrast in the landscape. This slow-growing agave forms a compact yet architectural rosette, making it an excellent choice for containers, rock gardens, and drought-tolerant designs. It thrives in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil and requires very little maintenance once established. Agave medio-picta ‘Alba’ is not considered pet friendly, as ingestion can be toxic to cats and dogs and the sap may cause skin irritation; its sharp leaf margins and terminal spines can also present a hazard to curious pets. This plant thrives in full sun and requires minimal irrigation. It can withstand temperatures as low as 15 degrees F.
